I'm not sure why I even bother to make an effort to do anything anymore. Everything keeps going wrong. It just feels like I'm treading water...

It is very easy to get that way! I looked at Astra's chart a while back. I know she has some very hard things to her Sun but she has a lot of strong Pluto too, but these childhood things dog us

Stephen King says no matter how big you get, your childhood repeats over and over. I really see this in myself!

1. A childhood friend of mine passed away.

2. Many work projects that have gone wrong. It feels like mercury retrograde, but mercury isn't retrograde, so I know that isn't it.

3. I faced a betrayal at work

4. All of this happened in just the past 2 weeks. I have 20 projects on my list to complete and I don't know how I will complete them all. I have a ton of people who are counting on me and I'm afraid I will let them down.

Astra I understand. The Libra full moon now is partly bringing a feeling of lost, uneven and unfilled energy. We may feel we are alone in a two way involvement. As though our feelings aren't recognized or appreciated.
It's not as positive energy now for many of us. As this Moon busts and fades it may release some of these energies.

Yes, Ami that is pure truth. Pluto comes around to test, like a bully kicking the bike tires whilst the youngster is trying to balance upon two tires. Unrelenting to put harsh tests forth. As far as the quote by S.King, perfectly added.

Two days ago I had a wave of the forged swords meme. In my mind's eye, I saw how harsh the creating is of a beautiful sword. It goes through welding (fire+abuse). It gains strength through much turmoil - to that original piece of steel. It transmutes to an instrument of beauty yet protective use too.
A sword does not merely become - it is made

That is a lot.

sorry about your childhood friend.

As for work pressure, is there anyway you could delegate some of the tasks? Or talk to the person you report to and say you are feeling overwhelmed, and can only commit to deliver x number of tasks instead of the 20?

Again, I am sorry to hear you are going through all of this.

I am also sorry about you friend.
It seems like you went through a lot. I'd take Belage's advice, and besides that try to have some relaxation time with myself. Taking long baths if you can, meditate, stroll in the park.. things like that. Try to rest your soul and body a bit, refresh yourself. You obviously need some vacation.
