You may abuse cuz you cannot feel like what it feels to be a victim.Just a theory. I knew of one person for whom this was true.I am just talking house ,now, not sign. Please add or detract from my ideas lol

Deja in Capri...sounds a bit sadistic/masochistic to me (saturnian vibes)and 12th seems shady...just a thought, maybe your Deja energy is 'hidden' from you, not truly integrated in your personality and you come to realise you ve been victimised only in after a big crisis? Mine is in 4th, supposedly it points to family and similar themes...12th could indicate hidden enemies...maybe a head of warning to watch your back in case you re victimised without realising it?

Well Karka
I know of one man who had Deja in the 12th. He was a sociopath and very abusive to his girlriend.
I am not saying ALL people with Deja here will be sociopaths or abusive, obviously.
What struck me was the DENIED part of his victim self and the exaggerated part of his abuser self.
I think Anemone was right about Nessus/Deja being a paired asteroid.
They are opposite sides of the same coin, you could say.

Now, Anemone are you saying Cap is a strong cardinal sign and that is why Deja in Cap would be worse?

From your last point:
I must admit it wasnt the Cardinal quality but the Capricornian/Saturnian theme that lead me to this...Saturn and hence Capricorn is stern, authoritative, patronizing, a leader - hardly a victim theme...so in Deja it could point to some 'conflict'; Deja is the 'victim' AKA the masochistic energy but in Capri it gets some sadistic undertones as well...thats how it FEELS for me.See, Capricorn/Saturn is an energy i would associate mostly with Nessus, the 'abuser', not with Deja, the 'abused' and therefore it points to some split here. Again, if we accept that signs in certain asteroids mean much...
Regarding houses...I would like to put emphasis on Ami's story...in which we talk about a MAN's Deja...I think Deja manifests differently in men's and women's horoscopes - i would say for the man it represents more his attitude towards the target of his abusive behavior. I think Deja is more prominent an energy in a woman's horoscope, well, in a Man's world/society anyways. I am not undermining women's abusive tendencies or how men can be/are victimised but I ve noticed women tap more easily in their Dejanira part and men on their Nessus.
Case in point: I ve seen a couple of natal charts (man, woman) where the man and woman had the same natal aspect concerning Nessus/Deja...in their personality, still, man acted out his Nessus and the woman acted out her Deja, despite having the same natal aspect.

Phew! Hope I made sense!
