Dark Moon, Black Moon or Lilith, this hypothetical point in astrology is known by several names. Some argue that the Dark Moon is one thing, Black Moon another and Lilith yet another. The reality is that there is an asteroid named Lilith, but it is not the same as the Dark or Black Moon. However, when used as a point in a birthchart, all three names appear valid as they all seem to describe the same thing.

This point arises due to the Moon's path around the ecliptic forming an axis of the perigee when the moon's orbit is closest to the earth and the apogee when its orbit is furthest from the earth. It is an empty area, a void created, an empty focus. Moving at about 40 degrees a year, the perigee is from where the path of the Dark Moon is calculated. It takes a little under nine years for it to complete its course.

Well with this Lilith Scorpio…I wonder since I am usually a prude. But that doesn’t mean I don’t think about the oposite sex all the time. But I wonder if this influence why in my young adulthood I’ve been picking guys that are going nowhere. Maybe I want to be the bread winner and feel like I call the shots? And feel like I am smarter one? I feel like I am outgrowing this phase though, thank God. Great imbalanced relationships…ugh. Well I’m glad I’m aware of this maybe being aware will help me pick better relationships.
I never cry at funerals either. But I have a heart.

With the 12 house stuff, it does really seem like I vary from socializing to isolation, I need them both, I’ve been artsy my whole life pretty much, just a fun enjoyable hobby for me! Gosh I do feel like I neglect my self at times. But who doesn’t? Not admit to my own needs?! I think that part is somewhat exaggerated, if I 100% did that I would not be alive or very happy, I can’t function if I am not happy and get what I want. I’ll admit sometimes it does take a while to know what I want/need/crave, but I eventually realize it. If I walk around with out a self per say…then why is there no one else who is just like me? I mean people need to find themselves sometimes, but come on.
