Just a thought: maybe Juno's house placement signifies how we largely benefit in marriage? I think Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman both have Juno in their second houses. Both were actors and with a combined income they were much wealthier and able to start Newman's Own which is a charitable company. I'm not saying this is true for everyone, but it's interesting how things worked out for them.

My Juno's in Libra and my 9th house. I've only liked one Libra man and not one since. I tend to go for Scorpio, Sagittarius or Capricorn men. Juno is in the 9th house and Sagittarius is the natural ruler of the 9th; Juno conjuncts Pluto- Scorpio; then sextiles Neptune in Capricorn. I have liked other signs, but it's the ones I've mentioned that take forever to get out of my system.

When a Juno in Sagittarius person is happily married, s/he feels that marriage is a freedom, not a limitation. For this Juno, marriage needs to involve unending growth and expansion—if there’s not room for that, marriage is not worth committing to.

Juno in the sixth house may serve or be served by thier mates. In some cases, partners work together in the same offices or companies. These natives tend to consider their marriages as accepted duties and responsibilities without too much emotion. They seem married to their jobs.

I have never dated anyone I work with and don't plan on it. Although, I have had a job since I was 14 and never take vacations, so that part is true. But I also have a 6th house stellium(Saturn, Uranus and Neptune)so it could be from that. So, Juno conjuncts my Saturn/Uranus, squares my Jupiter and opposes my Sun. I don't even know what that means lol

The most significant relationships I ever had had either a Sag stellium in their natal chart, or Sag in an angular house. Hmmmm.

I checked Paul Newman's and Joanne Woodward's charts to be sure and found that I mispoke. Woodward's Juno is in her first house and Newman's is in his eleventh. Their houses are almost exactly the same in that their cusps are in the same signs. With Woodward's Juno in both of their first houses she was the wife that he identified with (her Juno conjuncts his ASC). He did benefit from having her as a wife and withthis placement she could have been very happy in her role as they were together until his death. Also, with her Juno conjunct his ASC they were drawn to each other.

About what I mentioned before, Juno's placement may tell us how which area in our lives marriage will be enriched and push us to be better, also where the end of a marriage may hurt us most.

One more thing, it's true that Newman and Woodward kept private lives, but it's striking what their Juno placements show. Joanne's Juno conjuncts her Saturn. Paul was five years older than her and he was a Capricorn Rising with Mercury and Venus in the same sign. Her Juno sextiles her Venus and Paul was gorgeous. Paul's Juno was in his eleventh house. They were friends and ran in the same circles. In Sagittarius, Joanne is Southern and he was from the North. His Juno sextiled his Sun, she was the center of his attention if you read the story on wikipedia about her trying to make him jealous.

I mixed up their Sun and Moon placements (the classic marriage indicators) with their Junos. Paul's Moon is in his second house. He would have gained financially after marrying Joanne because he had gone through a divorce shortly before they started dating. Joanne's Sun is in her second house as well.

I wonder if we should look at Hera's placement along with Juno to find answers. Bob Marks give the same description for Hera's placements and aspects as Juno.

i don't get if juno-ac aspects are good or bad..

Juno in aspect to the Ascendant

(Martha Lang-Westcott)

Harmonious and inharmonious aspects: To feel unable to cope, or to continually get thrown off-balance due to issues in the marriage or because of difficulties with the partner; issues that deal with ‘appearance’ or personality / façade are troublesome and become pressure-points between the partners. The trouble in the marriage is registered as ‘constant’ and ongoing; preoccupation with relationship issues or others.

here’s a diff take

Juno Aspects the Ascendant: Juno in conjunction with the Ascendant makes us more attractive, like Venus. But while Venus uses charm, Juno attracts by giving us an air of innocence, like that of a young baby. This trait is also present with the other harmonious aspects (sextile and trine) but not quite as strong. The opposition is not a stressful aspect here. Remember that an opposition to the Ascendant is also a conjunction to the Descendant. The conjunction to the Ascendant makes a person more marriage oriented, especially if Juno is in the 1st house. If Juno is on the 12th house side of the Ascendant, however, then there will still be an increased desire to marry, but there will be increased restrictions of some sort (see Juno in the 12th house). With the square aspect of Juno to the Mid-Heaven, there would tend to be extra stress in marriage that requires constant adjustment and re-adjustment. At least it will not be dull.

juno as mistress..
http://mysticmedusa.com/2010/06/asteroid-juno-marriage-or-mistress/

Juno in the eighth house may attract mates with resources. There are opportunities to regenerate through their legal mates. An inner confidence makes these natives feel it unnecessary to defend their positions to others. They are adamant about carrying out their own wishes or beliefs to the extent of defying authority.

How would it factor in if Juno is retrograde...? Would their approach to marriage be internal? The only thing I understand about retro is that the energy is more focused inward...

I have Juno in Aries and I mostly see *myself* giving off Aries vibes in relation to the opposite sex. My husband would definitely have to have a bit of Aries in him, else he'll get bullied.

I have observed Juno in my own chart and my husband's chart, as well as maybe a few other people's charts, and it seems that Juno is somewhat relevant when it coms to the traits we feel attracted to.

I have Juno/Angel in Libra, forming a t-square with Cap Neptune and Aries Sun, and it seems that I often feel attracted to those with Venus or Mars or Mercury there. it's interesting, since from time to time I see a pic of someone really attractive, male or female, and when I check their charts, there it is, something conjunct Juno, or in the same sign! Even in my life it rings true, my husband has Venus right there, my brother has soemthing there, and 2 friends (male and female) I find attractive has Venus or Mars there.
As for my husband, it's also similar, his Juno is in Aries and I have Aries Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury, and I've checked the charts of some people he found attractive and there it is, mostly Venus in Aries.

Juno in Scorpio 1st house, conjunct Pluto, Jupiter and Mercury.

Juno is Jupiter's wife, wherever Juno is you decide on relationship agreements. Juno like it, "Nice". Juno is drawn to Jupiter, if someone has Jupiter conjnct your Juno you will instinctively take the part of the relationship as a duo.

Mine's in the 12th house. Most of the things I can find about it aren't very good...

Strangest thing is I've always had the idea I'd end up with someone who is disabled, especially physically. Like a hunch. Spiritual too, probably. No idea where I'd meet him, though. Any ideas? The only interpretations I've found mentioned a hospital or prison, volunteerwork, etc.

Another thing is that I want a partner who wants to be seen with me, despite said 12th house. I've learnt how painful it is to be kept as a secret. Never again. Maybe that was the one who was going to "do me in"?

I also have it conjunct my Venus in Virgo. I do like someone who is charming and cares about relationships. It also quintiles Chiron, which I guess reinforces the disability/spiritual theme.
