I asked IQ a question which he may not see cuz it is at the bottom of a thread so I will ask it here.

Could I describe Nessus as the energy of pure abuse which takes what it wants from another with NO thought of the other?

Could Dejanaria be described as the energy which just gives up and lets herself be abused without a fight?

I am talking about the pure"energy" behind these asteroids, now, not any value judgments or anything of that nature.

I hope people understand my question

Dejanira for me is at 7*Taurus, conjunct my Juno in the 7th, and square my MC/IC. (You asked me in the other forum. )

Nessus is at 22*Gemini, sextile my Mercury/Ceres/Chiron/Sun, from my 8th house. It is conjunct a certain douchebag's South Node.

Can you put your chart up so I can meditate on your Nessus/Deja?

OK, your Nessus was on his SN. That is amazing.
Hmmmm--The SN is where HE feels comfortable. Nessus is the energy of abuse/either doing it OR healing it.
I wish I could make the connections to get a clear feel of how it works but my brain is getting tired lol

just to add my $0.02 dollars here ( ) when anything conjoins the south node, it tends to be karmic. a feeling fate is emerged all up in it and also, not, not counterproductive, but not encouraging of growth just the same.. south node aspects can be really tricky because they can pull the individual to the south or the north depending on how they access it.. with the south node though, things are automatically linked to the past.

whoever has the nessus in synastry in conjunction with someone's south node, they are both playing out a very old interaction.. it would be best for them to really get to know their chart and also get to know their parents.. not their charts but yes, talk to them about their previous relationships, their sexual history, their experiences when they were young, etc, etc..

some families aren't ok with talking about that.. black moon lilith makes a conjunction to my sun in the fifth and my family has been way ok with it and i've found lots of similarities between my relationships and interactions once i stopped trying to run away from that woman who birthed me and asked her a few questions.

trust me, it really puts things into perspective and i think it'd be MUCH safer for one to experience the karma like that because otherwise, they'd have to personally experience it, that is all.

that venus south node sounds not fun to even begin with.. how the hell did that happen? it's the south node... never mind. i met someone with venus in conjunction to my south node a long time ago and when i went to pay their house a visit, the first i noticed was that on both sides of their street, there were two poles with signs that read, really big: 'DEAD END'. i found it extremely ironic, chatted with them for a few times and even went back again to see them.. dead end is exactly what is is.

I have Moon/Venus conjunct my own South Node, and square Mars.

Ami, I have to get ready to go somewhere - if I don't get out of here tonight, I might implode - but I posted my chart in your thread, remember? The one I need to get back to, from a month or so ago - a large thread about house placements, chart rulers, aspects..

oops, yeah, thanks for catching that ami but the north node could work just the same.. about BML in synastry, i dunno.. i've had it aspected before through a very, lively affair with someone but the aspects were too extreme to tell em apart.. literally, conjunctions up the wazoo! all of them involved moon, venus, mars, neptune, mercury, pluto, uranus, saturn, sun, south node, chiron and the only one that wasn't in conjunction to anything was each of our jupiters. so there, i dunno.. i can't tell u anything.

and teasel, that venus thing sounds draining.. work out whatever is in your north node sign and what aspects it to get u up and moving again because that south node conjunction can be such a drag... also, u have venus and moon there too so u've gotta work on that as well and not let urself become so overly emotional or needy.

moon conjunction south node can never have enough and u've got to realize that.. those people tend to become the boyfriends and girlfriends that just don't stop calling or are never satisfied and with venus there, it has a direct impact on your relationships..

brtiney spears has venus conjunct south node in capricorn and she took a big leap for that kevin guy and look what happened.. later on she had that womanizer song and a line in there talks about their relationship and how it would work in a different world but they're not in a different world so she can't cuz they don't... something to think about.

For the most part, I've been the very opposite of needy - until I was at my lowest point. I tend to keep it in, until I can't take anymore - like I have no responsibility to the douchebag's feelings anymore. I thought I did, until he disregarded mine completely, so...

LOL.

I have the Moon/Venus conjunction, AND I have Nessus in conjunction with someone's South Node.

Their South Node is at 20* Gemini. Mine is around 1*Gemini.

teasel, im replying to your needy moon post now... that's not good... the north and south like anything, works on an axis where it's either too much of one or too much of the other until you work em both together.

it isn't to say that your emotional needs aren't important or should be regarded as unhealthy, but there has to be a healthy medium.. u can't sacrifice it to reach the north because in the south node there is a loooot of depth and a lot of treats so it probably rewards you with a great sensitivity and intimate depth but there can be a line that u know may not be well to cross.

it may be ok to have a cry or to need someone because that's what a relationship is.. if you didn't need em, you wouldn't want em but dependency, is when it's gone too far.. crying is ok but when it's crying for a month or so, that's too far.. even if you do it for the week, that may be far.

after a break-up, you're entitled to that but i strongly suggest you find yourself a friend or whatever else is displayed by your north node because easily, you could become bed ridden for DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSS just in the dark crying all alone til one day u up and go like a dead horse until u run into something again.. the trick is to deal with your feelings in a healthy way.

without becoming clingy, overly dependent, emotionally draining, unreliable, and just about everything negative we can read about things associated with cancer.. the moon is also a reflective body so caution against the people you hang around with or you want to be with because you can EASILY begin to imitate them and not always for the best.

and that britney draining comment thing also goes for you along with the dead end thing rasp.. and now i understand why you feel uncomfortable with that man you were talking about and now, yes, i strongly suggest you find a way to individualize yourself..

there is a strong feeling of obligation whenever the south node is involved so u may feel you're in the relationship for his sake but without feeling guilty, you need to work through that and kinda make your way out into the world.. it is a zone of comfort but things become stagnant and eventually the south node person is the one who gets away and i believe that it's mostly for their sake.

Duke, most of my crying has been about me and my own regrets, not that a$$ (excuse my language). I avoided his emails until last night, when I was upset over my dog, because I expected there to be more upsetting things, and sure enough...
