Yes, I think SPIRIT might point towards the "spiritual realm" and a connection there.

Yes, I think so.I have been - for the last 18 years!- having "flashes of insight" about a certain guy, who is not in my circle of friends or aquaitances.
But those "insights" are ALWAYS right. I have natally Spirit on 10 Capricorn conjunct Guinevere on 11 Capricorn conjunct Venus on 6 Capricorn. He has Spirit on 9 Capricorn conjunct Guinevere on 11 Capricorn conjunct Venus on 10 Capricorn.

amazing actually!I'm loving asteroid Spirit so far...
I wonder though exactly what's the different btw- Spirit conj Venus on synastry
and Spirit opposite Venus.
Could it be that with the opposition- these people are pulled appart by outside circunstances however still always remain spiritually connected? While the connjunction is more of a perfect union in both physical and spiritual realms? IP: Logged |

My Spirit trines my Venus and conjuncts my bf's South Node, sextiles his Pluto, and quincunx his Jupiter..His Spirit conjuncts his Uranus, Juno, & Swindle, (yup -.-) and it all conjuncts my ASC, trines my Jupiter, Chiron, & Psyche. IP: Logged |

Its a nice interp Asteroid SPIRIT is very powerful in the charts of spiritual people, it wont work in analyzing a selfish/narcissistic/egoistic/sociopathic person. SPIRIT opp Venus means developing inner level or spiritual level attraction to the other's value systems. Or indicating the possibility of loving the person on a deep, unselfish level. IP: Logged |

Why would an opposition to Venus be good? Is it cuz Venus is good no matter what?
So,would Venus in opposition to Lust, Sappho etc ---all be good? What would Mars or Pluto in opposition to Spirit be like, for example ? ------------------

Oppositions provide a lot of energy. It can be friction or a "spark" (in a nice way).
IQ stated that only spiritual people will react strongly to SPIRIT (personally I ahven`t formed a firm opinion on this though), but if those people are spiritual, chances are high, that they will strive for the more positive expression of the tension / energy that the opposition provides.IP: Logged |

I'm a spiritual person and so is the man I'm talking about.  But in my opinion asteroid Spirit will work for most people. Everyone has "spirit"/(soul)- "We are all spiritual beings experiencing a physical existence" There are some people that do not focus on spirituality due to different reasons-(have a more traditional mindset,etc) yet can still feel pure love- the "deep spiritual connection" to another person.
But might use different words.

DD gave a nice interp for Venus Opposition.Spiritual People always feel positively about even the non-spiritual but life experiences have taught me to be very cynical about narcissists/atheists etc. They just don't want to allow God or Spirit into their current lifeline. ( Maybe a Pluto transit will change them.. but this is Kali Yuga.. materialists find change extremely difficult.) What will I do by looking at their Asteroid Spirit? Unless it conjuncts their Ascendant, Sun or Moon, I never bother. Just a Moon and Saturn transit check is enough to know the poor life path of the non spiritual person. But the rich lifeline of a multidimensional spiritual person, that needs every Asteroid to be examined to know the beautiful tapestry of the life they have woven.... ------------------

i loev to see these types of asteroids.well ive been developing my spiritual side lately,so it is not that strange that this asteroid is really nicely aspected in my chart: SPIRIT 11AQUA in 5th SPIRIT oposes Karma/valentine/Mars
SPIRIT sextiles my Felicitas/Vertex i agree with IQ - people that are naturally egoic,selfish and narcisist,wont feel the spiritual call or these types of asteroids...just because they dont want to develop this side.they feel confortable being like they are. so not everyone will have SPIRIT "working" in the charts.. john´s Alma cj my Spirit

Everyone will have Spirit working in their charts (just as the planets are working ine very chart), but not everyone is AWARE of it. Maybe that is the difference.IP: Logged |

yes,that is what i wanted to say kind of.spirit is there but it is asleep. for instance the kind of people that im talking about dont have the nicest traits torwards others,so they wont be developing their soul´s best energy.they will be dwleving more and more into the darkest sides of it. so,even if spirit is there in their charts,it wont be nicely aspected,,,perhaps it will be tied to the darker archetypes asteroids,dont you think? I don't think atheists should be disregarded in the study of this asteroid just because they have not yet found the wisdom of the spiritual world.Every person is working on their karma- each path is different and NO ONE is superior to another so no one can raise the judging finger. Everyone is working on their path. And that is valuable. I don't intend everyone to agree with me. As I don't have the absolute answers, and neither does other Astrologers.
Studies can be very subjective...same with asteroids and planet interpretations. I always keep an open mind- and I don't like- absolute answers. I'll keep checking this asteroids, (like many others)- as I think it's a beautiful one and all people in the world- can feel it.
