Apollo is adoration love rather than erotic love.
The Sun person(in synastry) idealizes the Apollo person. He could write romantic poetry to her.
Picture the Sun person sitting under a tree with the Apollo person reading her classic poetry with stars of adoration in his eyes

Apollo, the Sun-God, associated with Prophecies 9Apollo Temple, Delphi - Pythia), Arts (protector of 9 Muses), Music, Light, is one of the most prominent figures in Greek Mythology and specifically the greek 'Pantheon' (assembly of Gods).

I am not sure about the synastry part with someone, but natally, I have Apollo in Leo in the 1st House conjunct the Ascendant within a 2 degree orb.

It also forms a Yod with Neptune and Saturn by forming a quincunx with both of them within a 1 degree orb each. So Apollo is the apex.

Does anyone know what this could mean for my Apollo placement?

My Apollo is square his Mercury it was me who adored and 'worshipped' him. In this case it is his way with words which is phenomenal. His writes beautifully and how he puts ideas together is mesmerising. So, it is the Apollo person who is doing the adoring here.

Incidentally, we have composite Apollo conjunct the composite Sun and both are 1 degree away from the Asc. In this instance I think it highlights the idealisation theme. We perhaps adore our idealisations rather than the real person.
