Before I share the sad story, I want to talk about Narcissus/Narcissim.
There is healthy N and there is unhealthy N.
Healthy N is when you have a right size picture of yourself--not too small and not too big.
Many people's picture is too small.
Low self esteem IS Narcissism is a way.
Narcissism is NOT having the appropriate sense of self, really.
If you think you are so bad and so much worse than others that is N in reverse so could fall under the category of N .
I will use that definition when I talk about it.

I just noticed that My Narcissus is an exact conjunction with someone's Mercury.
What would that mean? I want to take his mind out,shake it up and put some sense in it .THIS person needs it

You want to connect the person to you like a Siamese twin.

My mother did this to me. This happened to my son whose FATHERS's Narcissus was on my son's Venus--exact.
Narcissus can be bad in synastry,I think, based on this anyway.
Please share stories of N in the natal and synastry.

Pathological N is when you TAKE someone to be your own.
It is like having NO thought that this person has his own life,his own separate being,his own life force, own path,own way.

N parents do it with children.N husbands do it with wives and vice versa.
N boyfriends do it with girlfriends and vice versa.
We ALL have N in us.It was a childhood stage .We all have it always.It is just a matter of if it is pathological.
A little curry is good. A ton of it will make the soup inedible lol

I am discussing N conjunct the Sun with some astrologers who know quite a bit.
They say it can be healthy self love which seems to be the case with Mert.
He does not seem as if he has pathological N.
I can pick this up like a piece of lint on a dark suit

I am really trying to understand Narcissus and what it could mean. I have a coworker who has been showing interest in me and he is 19 years older than me. There is a lot in our synastry to point towards a strong attraction and love. I have warm feelings for him, but am not interested obviously as I am married and he is much older. I looked at his chart, specifically if my name in his chart is conjunct anything, and it's conjunct asteroid Narcissus exact. I have strong examples in my own chart of peoples' names being conjunct other asteroids and feel those themes very strongly. But I'm wondering what my name conjunct Narcissus could mean for him??? We also have composite Narcissus conjunct composite Descendant. Does he think I'm a narcissit? I am pretty humble, down to earth and even self-deprecating at times, so I am just stumped.

I have found this asteroid gives confidence to people when it is conjunct the Sun and NN. I have not seen it too much in synastry so don't really know how it reacts. I do my own research by doing many charts. That is the best way to learn imo
