Hmm... well i've bee scanning other Forums about asteroids, but most of them talk solely about asteroids aspecting other asteroids. What about aspecting planets?Like, Iamlove asked in the Sexual Obsession Forum about Lust aspecting Venus/Mars... i mean, are these kinds of connections irrelevant? Do they only work when contacting other asteroids?IP: Logged |

I'd imagine aspecting the planets would be much stronger. Although I think for asteroids you're just considering conjunctions and oppositions, but others might disagree.Kim Falconer describes the asteroid Lust this way: "Lust is about joy, beauty and enthusiasm for the other…lust for life and passion for connection. Lust can have a feeling of hunger…something that is in control of us!" I imagine Lust conjuncting Venus or Mars would add a really delicious or thrilling element to the dynamic depending on the rest of the synastry. IP: Logged |

IMO asteroids aspecting asteroids are just about meaningless unless they also aspect another planet. It is about the planetary geometry - not 2 asteroids in aspect. The asteroids are connectors and have a yin energy. They connect to planets and broaden planetary relationships with the possible exception of ceres which is much larger and has achieved minor planet status. It also seems to have an effect when in transit on its own. Often a malefic one involving separation. IP: Logged |

Another exception perhaps being Eros/Psyche? Although if these two are in aspect with planets and/or angles as well this makes their activation more meaningful.IP: Logged |

Hmm.. so when the asteroids aspect each other, it's not as EVIDENT or just not as powerful as when they come into contact with planets? I'm sorry if i'm being dense. I'm a wee bit annoyed that there isn't more information available about asteroids in synastry online. I've been becoming more and more knowledgeable about synastry over the past few years and i thought i had in down pat until i stumbled upon Juno, then Chiron... and i come to find that there are a GREAT many asteroids that play a huge role in relationships. Does anyone know any good sites or books about asteroids/synastry? I know magiastrology has some info...? IP: Logged |
