Trying to find some facts on the almighty Juno, and just how much it really defines your choice in a marriage partner. According to what I'm reading, it seems to be the end all, ultimate definitive to who you'll spend the long haul with. True story or no?

My bf and I: Both have Juno in our 6th. According to a site I found, this aspect causes an individual to be married to their work. And actually, this guy is the first to understand my workaholicism, because he is the same way.
The ex: We both had Juno in Virgo. What does a conjunct Juno mean? His was in his 8th, and supposedly means he needs a sex machine for a partner. I'll vouch for this one. It got really annoying, even for me; the stereotypical scorp.

Any varying personal experiences with Juno? Is anyone else skeptical of the claims made about Juno and it's relationship effects?

Sun - Capricorn (10th House)
Moon - Gemini (2nd House)
Mercury - Sagittarius (9th House)
Venus - Aquarius (11th House)
Mars - Aries (12th House)
ASC - Aries

I like Juno. I have mine in the Libra and 8th house. Yes I need a beautiful, charming partner and I do need someone to be all over me all the time.

www.bobmarksastrologer.com.. never heard of it, dont know if its reliable, but thats the site. I'm going to look some other places too. I didnt think my Juno in Virgo really sounded like me! I dont think I nitpick and criticize my partner?

Also wanted to add... JUno in Virgo, does that mean I'm attracted to someone with virgo-like qualities? Every virgo I have EVER met I'm instantly repelled, its one of those signs I do not ever get along with never ever...

I do not know about Juno at all. Mine is in Aquarius, which is his moon sign.

His is in Cancer.

I have sun/moon/asc SAG
He has sun in Taurus, Moon in Aqua with Pisces asc.

We have been married 5 years, very compatible, excellent rapport and chemistry.

So what's his Juno doing in Cancer?

Scorpfran, If I were you I would ignore Juno entirely, especially as you don't seem to have found a partner!

Focus on your descendant and planets there. Also check your house to do with family. My best advice is work it out backwards and in retrospect. I mean, it's best to click with someone, find it lasts for a good while and if all is well for at least a year then check charts to find out what was so right.

Evolved souls especially cannot work out in simplistic ways such as 'most compatible sign' or 'desc' etc. Analysing our charts in detail after 5 years I find that in a very complex but unavoidable way it was Jupiter that brought us together. But of course there are many complexities in our charts which are all conducive to marriage. NUMEROLOGY I have always found MUST be combined with astrology to work things out more precisely. Why don't you post your chart here and members will analyse and help!

Good wishes.

Juno is a more feminine venus and relates majorly to sex appeal.

Juno appears to be an accurate indicator for me. I have Juno in Cancer in the 9th house. It trines Mercury. (And is quindecile Venus.)

Looking at my natal Juno with all the guys I've been with for at least 6 months:

Mercury trine Juno
Every one of the guys has a prominent Mercury. Most often it's conj the Sun, one has it conj his ASC, and one has it in the first house.

Yes, I like them smart. But I'm also very, very attracted to a man's voice. In some cases, it was his voice that first attracted me. Not that I didn't find other parts of him appealing, but when the voice is just right, there's no fighting it for me.

BUT this could also be b/c I have Gemini on my 8th house cusp, and Gemini is associated with communication. Strengthening that link is that Gem is associated with the arms, and I am very attracted to a man's arms. Sexy to me is a man in a t-shirt with the bottom of his bicep peeking out. It's helped me empathize with men's reaction to cleavage. Anyway, so I don't know if Juno is needed to explain my attraction to intelligence and voice, since Gemini on the 8th could be sufficient for that, plus it would cover my arms infatuation.

Juno in the 9th
The 9th house is associated with higher education and my SO and the two guys I was involved with before him all work in higher education. Another ex is an elementary school teacher. The only ex whose career I don't know is the old high school bf who I have no contact with. I tried googling him, but true to his double Scorpio self, nothing came up. I wouldn't be surprised though if he works in education, too.

BUT I have Venus (ruler of my 7th house) in the 3rd house, so that alone could explain my attraction to educators. (I also have a lot of friends who are teachers.)

Juno in Cancer
None of the guys is a Cancer Sun, but they all have prominent water, usually Pisces.

I admit that I am attracted to protective, nurturing guys. My independent Sag self blushes when revealing that, but it's true. I need that to be a part of their personality, but too much probably would turn me off.

An example. Before my SO and I got involved, we were at a work party together. I had brought a pie, and I was putting whip cream on the slices, and on one of them it came out really messy. So I pulled that slice in front of me and said that would be mine. My SO snatched it to him and immediately took a bite, and with a mouth full of pie and cream (lol), said, "It's perfect." He explained that his dad would always do that too, keep the "damaged" food for himself. Anyway, that melted me. I knew we were inevitable. Yes, I realize I get turned on by strange things, but sweetness...so hot to me.

BUT maybe my attraction to perceptive, sensitive guys is from my Chiron in the 7th house. ? I'm not sure about this one.

So, all in all, my Juno placement does describe the type of men I'm very attracted to, which are also the men I've had exclusive, (relatively) long-lasting relationships with.

In synastry, my SO and I have mutual Mars-Juno aspects; an opposition and a conjunction.
No complaints.

I don't see Juno as sexual.

I have Juno in Virgo

in solar fire, it says

You are looking for the perfect partner and may need to make adjustments in order to accept less than perfection. You need a partner who can attend to details and contribute to the daily household chores.

That's true for me.

I am also prudish.....I even have tropical zodiac Virgo Ascendant, but its in constellation of Leo. But, my tropical Scorpio Sun is actually in the constellation of Virgo. That's probably why I can relate to Virgo. My girlfriend is prudish, and that's what attracted me to her. She didn't have sex until she was 20 and that was with her exboyfriend. She wasn't sexually involved with any other guys. That really impressed me. It's hard to find women like that. I didn't have sex until I was 22 years old.

My Juno in tropical Virgo is actually in the constellation of Virgo too....so I feel that's why I can relate to Virgo strongly
Pluto is conjunct my Juno, and that just means that I am intense with my partners and that partnerships can transform me. My partners can be intense. My girlfriend has a been a catalyst for me. She has Scorpio Moon conjunct Pluto. My Juno is quincunx Mars, and that indicates I can be passionate with partners who can also be passionate. My girlfriend has Sun,Mercury, and Mars in Aries.
those are her tropical placements though. She does have Mars in the constellation of Aries.
