I know...I know...not ANOTHER thread about asteroids!! Ok...I just have a couple specific aspects to ask about. Is anyone familiar with them? I already have the preliminary requirements of the Muinaries and Karmic planets.....so Im curiouswhat these asteroid aspects might mean in synastry. Mars(his) conjunct(my) Psyche (Virgo) Pluto(his) conjunct (my)Psyche (Virgo) Saturn(his) conjunct(my) Eros (Pisces)Also..Venus sextile Valentine...but Im not putting much stock in anything other than a conjunction. And all these aspects are NO MORE than a 3 degree orb of influence. They are very tight.

WHat are "Muinaries" you ask? Well..those are the Luminaries. LOl!! __________ I;m wondering if Psyche is somehwhat of a mild substitute for Venus....like we have such a great synastry chart...but no Mars/ Pluto contacts to Venus. Would these aspects comensate for that in anyway? IP: Logged |

I've always found Psyche connections to be indicative of a psychic link between me and my BFs. When it's really strong, it's almost telepathic. I would think that with a Pluto/Psyche conjunction you would feel that type of link. At the very least, you would probably feel like you're on the same wavelength.Of course, elements of the Psyche/Eros mythology can apply as well. I have to run now, but I'll look through my charts later to see if I've experienced any of those specific aspects with someone IP: Logged |

My Eros is trine his venus, square his Saturn and conjunct his Uranus. His Eros is square my Uranus and opposite my Ascendant. My Psyche opposes his Saturn, squares his Uranus and trines his Pluto. His Psyche squares my Venus, squares my Pluto, squares my Chiron and trines my MC. The problem: After my falling in love with him, and him telling me he loved me and was ready to "take it to the next level." He gave me the I just want to be "friends" speech. Needless to say, I am heartbroken IP: Logged |

Hmmmm...so most of my Psyche connections have been with either nodes, angles or luminaries. I have two Sun/Psyche conjunctions, one Psyche/NN and one Psyche/SN. (I only checked with guys I really loved.)I spent 7 years with the guy whose Psyche conjuncted my NN and whose Sun conjuncted my Psyche. The guy I've loved the most has his Psyche and Ceres on my Vertex and my Psyche and Ceres are on his South Node. That's the guy with whom I have the craziest energetic/telepathic connection. (His personal name asteroid is also exactly conjunct my Eros. Booya!) In your case, with his Saturn conjunct your Eros, this can be karmic and binding but it could also be inhibitory. Do you feel a lack of 'eros' when you're with him? Or does it feel repressed? As for Mars and Psyche, I've experienced the square and the opposition, never the conjunction. At least not that I can recall right now. I would think that depending on other aspects it might be a mind/body connection you have with him. As for Venus sextile Valentine, I tend to look at conjunctions the most, then I'll have a look at oppositions and squares. And finally trines and sextiles. It's not that the energy isn't nice, but it's probably not going to be the focal point of a synastry chart. This is just a personal opinion, but as much as I like to see those aspects, a conjunction or opposition of two asteroids will tell me more about the relationship than a sextile any day. But having said that, Valentine contacts do feel really nice. They remind me of Neptune contacts, but the nice, not-so-illusory kind. IP: Logged |

Regarding the Saturn cnjct Eros..Yes... ..I do feel inhibited. Like I have to knowwe are totally cool...know what the relationship is all about, etc....before I can't let loose. But beleive me...the desire aand chemistry and connection is there. Our Moons have the double whammy of being conjunct eachother's ascendant almost exactly..like 6 minutes. 3 minutes from mine. And his Sun, Mercury n Venus conjunct mine too. Even with all that good stuff...still inhibited. What wud Pluto/Psyche conjunct be? IP: Logged |

I think Pluto/Psyche may be a deep connection and probably a transformative one. Perhaps since he's the Pluto person, by your association with him he will be the catalyst for some shift in your psyche.Does your Psyche aspect your own Eros natally? If so, it could be that he awakens some part of of your 'Eros' which is still dormant. Or helps you to chanmge your views (Psyche) about eroticism or sexuality. Also, I would check and see which other planets his Pluto is closely aspecting in your chart and it might give you an idea about the nature of what could shift. IP: Logged |

Lara ~Eros/vertex double whammy sounds good! Do you have anything conjuncting your Vertex natally? Does he? I find that if there is a planet conjuncting the Vertex or even the Antivertex then you get an idea of the main purpose of that angle. It's considered the electric axis so Eros sitting on it would probably be quite nice. For example, I have Uranus conjunct my Vertex so when certain planets transit my Vertex/Uranus I tend to very suddenly meet people and it always feels very fated. With just Eros conjunct Vertex, it seems as if perhaps you two were meant to meet and uh...you know, get jiggy with it Psyche/Psyche: I have had that with a bf since we were born less than a month apart and I found we had a similar way of thinking...like we were mirrors for each other. If he was acting in a way that annoyed me, I usually realized that he was just mirroring something in me that I was not expressing. As for Psyche/Mars, as I mentioned to Crabby Fish, it might have something to do with a mind/body connection. And since you also have the Eros/Vertex going on, perhaps this underlines the fact that you two fit together really well in a physical way. Maybe when it comes to sex you can naturally anticipate what the other wants or needs? Do you feel strong chemistry with this guy? I always give a lot of attention to double whammies myself. I think that regardless of whether it's an asteroid or a planet or an angle, if it's repeating then it means something. IP: Logged |

Hi Love Thank you for replying.ok well we also have sun/vertex DW and lots of spooky ones like NN/AC, venus/IC, pluto/mars, pluto/AC funnily enough, my eros is conjunct my vertex! and sextile his vertex. my vertex/eros conjunction is conjunct his eros and his eros natally opposes his saturn/isis and trines his sun. Yes l do feel strong chemistry with him, and my AC is ruled by mars! Interesting how my vertex conjunct my own eros and his! IP: Logged |

Meaning I dnt ge the Pluto conjunct Venus...but I can have a milder version with him. Thank U for your reply! Thats good stuff IP: Logged |

Lara ~Sun/Vertex double whammy is definitely noteworthy as well. Any Vertex double whammy is cool since the Vertex is not a moving planet but rather an angle so it's all about the timing (which is sort of how I think of Vertex anyhow ) Crabby Fish ~ Since my Venus is in Cancer, it squares almost everyones Pluto, including my own. So I know how that feels. In my last two Scorpio relationships, they had identical Venus's (Libra 2'18) and so I also got to experience the conjunction as Pluto. A Venus/Pluto double whammy is something else. But I think Psyche/Pluto would be a nice change for me personally. It seems less obsessive and more connected. Considering the fact that I'm still not over my ex, I think *you* might have gotten a good deal there. IP: Logged |
