People who meet me more than a few times soon come to realise that I am a bit astro-nutty Also I feel like I have influenced people positively yet subtely regarding astrology. When my boss says "ahhh I'm being such a Virgo" I smile to myself I never force it on people yet it seems to rub off, and I never over-talk about it either (so people arent turned off). Sometimes out of the blue people ask me for astrological help, people who I never thought would be interested at all.

I've been looking into astrology since I was about 15. I still refer to my first book on the subject (Astrology Under the Southern Hemisphere by Richard Sterling, Doris Greaves and Milton Black)

Astrowizard also semi-sextiles my Uranus, Sextiles my Saturn and Trines my Venus all within the same degree (12).

I've been into astrology since I was 16. I'm 21 now. I also don't useally over talk about astrology either, also not wanting to turn people off. I dont know anyone I can talk to about astrology in depth, in person.

I have Mercury in Taurus 11 degress
And Astrowizzard in Taurus 10 degress

I don't know how to read other aspects in the chart yet.

I am definetly a huge believer in astrology. But I am definetly not a fundamentalist bat sh!t banannas preaching astrology to people. lol (I've actually never heard of any astrologer doing that)

Alot of people don't know how much I know about it.

I am much like you except I find it easier to share on a light level with (11th house) friends/aquaintances (what's your sign baby? hehe). All my male taurus friends still remember when I used to do matchmaking when I was 16 *rolls eyes at myself* and occasionaly at a party even now, after a few drinks, will suddenly come out with how awesome taureans are and we have a little bonding session haha.. so it's more light hearted like that. Nowadays I rarely mention it at all, except in passing or when a close friend is going through a crisis/decision (eg. My best friend is getting married and had a few dates to choose from so I did some marriage charts for her to help out). Maybe that is the 11th house placement. Most people who get to know me know that I have an interest in this subject. Few people know the depth which I have studied. People on my facebook DONT know, so I dont go touting it either. I don't feel right doing that.

Maybe your 12th house placement explains that you would keep it close to your chest (I see 12th house, secrets, as keeping cards close to your chest).

It's nice to be a part of a forum where we can bond with others who are like-minded and not feel like we are the only ones!!!

lol She has to listin to me once in a while cause I've listined her Reki and Church stories way to many times!!!

I have some friends who like to talk about astrology and they will say funny things like "Man Pisces be trippin!" They really just look into Sun Sign stuff.
But I know that my Aries Sun is not the only thing that defines who I am. I am only Aries like if I am having a good day,had too much caffine or have a hot headed moment...but useally when I get hot headed I can say things that are too dark and ruthless for an Aries to say. I have a Scorp Moon. lol

I have mentioned to one of them that there is more than Sun Signs, to a few friends but I don't want to overwhelm them or creep them out either, when I know their Moon sign and they don't. LOL I even got one friend to look at her chart. And one dude knew what I was talking about when I was driving two guys in a car, I was telling him about how thats mainly what I believe in and how I'm pretty much agnositic with everything else.

But yes with the people I know I feel I can't really go deep talking about astrology. Wich is why I love lindaland. But there was one time my mom threw a phychic party (when she was going through a phycic phase) The psyhcic knew what I was talking about. It was awesome.

phycic: you don't seem like an Aries
me: Well my rising sign is Gemini
phycic: I would of guessed that, my Rising is Aries, I think that is why I am so quirky.

me: well my Venus is in Pisces
phyhic: ah, that's why your romantic!

me: well my Moon is in Scorpio
phycic: *uncomfortible sigh* you guys take everything too personal, try not to do that.
