Aeolia {396} is the king of the wind who was promised a nymph of Hera's if he helped her create a storm. The nymph was called Deiopea. I've found no info on her or their union but it looks like Aeolia is the place in your chart that the gods may require you to kick up a storm every now and again and Deiopea or aspects in synastry that include her could show that you have been promised to that person. It may not be an intimate relationship but the signs and houses will show the full nature of the promise -

or at least that's the theory.

Very interesting, dys-mys! You hardly seem like 'dysfunctional', more like a very together 'on-top-of-it' mystic..

I looked up Aeolia & Dejopeja in my synastry with someone and found:

His Karma/Dejopeja conjunction conjunct my DC (1/6 orb - bit wide)
My Dejopeja conjunct his Venus/Pallas (2/1 orb)

Thanks for that Sunshine9.

I just wish the names could be a little easier to pronounce sometimes. I'm going to be checking dejopeja more often though, especially when someone says they feel like they belong to the other person or vice versa.

Mystic,

Are you finding these asteroids often involved in synastry? This should probably go on the list of archetypal pairs then, and perhaps we should check them in synastry charts we do on here, just to add to the research..

Sunshine

p.s. This is totally random, but 'Aeolia' sounds like some kind of fancy oil to me..

I'm slowly going through charts, it's not showing up often but; the energy within the pair seems to be very specific. She's owed to him on a promise, and I'm hoping they show up in the charts where people feel they somehow "owe" it to their partner to stay. It's not often that you hear someone say "I know I belong to him/her" It's a slightly different feeling to being "fated to be together". Which to me says mutual love and appreciation. I'm not so sure that having Aeolia/Dejopeja strong in synastry will give a feeling of being "in love", it may be the feeling of having "no choice". It may also be that "she" is his reward for past effort and if it shows in synastry, it may feel like one of you deserves the other person...like you've earned a chance at happiness.

I seemed to go through a stage of having someones venus on my Dejopeja but my south node is also around this point. Its hard for me to separate the two.

I do wonder if you have a strong Dejopeja in the natal....maybe you gravitate towards people who you think deserve a chance...

Hope this makes sense.

I do think they deserve some archetypal merit. They may well explain things that the other pairs don't.

and as for sounding like a fancy oil, it's a really strange word - can't get my head around it at all lol
