Topic: asteroid Kassandra and Eris ?

I have Moon conjunct Kassandra and Moon conjunct Eris. I'm trying to find some information on these aspects but I haven't found much.Please share what you know about these aspects and asteroids. Thank you  IP: Logged |

I've researched a bit on Eris but nothing on Kassandra.I have it a few degrees from my moon {Eris}, here's what I wrote, there's a link in there to another page I found too.

You do not seem Eris to me.
I can usually pick it out but maybe you are this way with people in real life  Let me describe Eris.You tell me if it fits.Eris likes to cause dissension.
If two people are sitting and having a nice talk, Eris will come in to stir up stuff and get the people fighting . Eris is like a mosquito. It enjoys dissension .It enjoys stirring up stuff.Then,it will usually sit back and laugh lol ------------------
It doesn't happen all at once.You become.It takes a long time.That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily,or have sharp edges,or who have to be carefully kept.
Generally,by the time you are Real most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby.
But these things don't matter at all,because once you are Real you can't be ugly ,except to people who don't understand.

Kassandra - Where you have a gift of vision or prophecy; Where you tell the truth but nobody believes or understands you. It makes you feel crazy that you can't get the message across, as you KNOW it is true. By the time they understand, it is too late.IP: Logged |

I had a friend with Eris conj the Sun and Mercury.
This is what I noticed. IF she thought there was any injustice, she would jump.
Now, her thinking process was not always right.She would jump when she thought stuff was unjust when she was often wrong .
So, she got herself in to trouble with people who felt violated.
Does this fit with your concept of Eris?------------------

I especially enjoyed reading your interpretation of Aries moon-Eris. I certainly can relate. Thank you, I think you've done a wonderful job writing that article.

Ami I think your description actually fits, to a certain extent. I'm naturally a peace lover and I leave people alone in the hope that they will leave me in peace. But hypocrisy irks me to no end. I guess deep deep down, I don't like the concept of being "nice" - which Dysfunctional mystic has descriped - one's got to be "fake" to a certain degree to be considered nice and civilised. But I think because Eris conjunct my Moon-the inner-self, I usually keep my thoughts to myself. I don't enjoy/or like to get people fighting. But at times, I do feel an "urge" to drop a right word in the right time and into the right ears, so that people would see the "real" versions of each other, which they try so hard to conceal. And yeah, if I did that then people would see through each other's facade, which undoubtedly would lead to fighting. But again, as you can see from my chart. I want to keep my hands clean. So normally I'd just sit back and watch. Coz insincerity will eventually be uncovered. lol I don't feel like a self-respecting hypocrite at all.

Lol I have big issues with injustice. It's one thing I can't stand and it's one of the few things that irk me. But I guess as you can see from my chart, I also have a big communication problem so I don't act out. Hence I have a chance to think and cool down. Eris conjuncts your friend's Sun, it conjuncts my Moon so I guess the energy of Eris manifests differently. quote:

A few people who know about my "ability" (I use that word loosely coz maybe I'm insane, who knows lol ) call me the Seer of Impending Doom =)) I would sometimes get "feelings" about whether the other people's relationships might work or end badly. Ami - yes I think what you see in your friend is right up to a point. Many people thought Eris was wrong in throwing the apple but that is simply a matter of perception. The goddesses did not HAVE to make Paris choose. Paris did not HAVE to choose Helen. Without knowing exactly what your friend did - I can't say if she was right or wrong but I know that in the case of Eris, she was the scapegoat for something much bigger. Pixie, thanks for the compliment, I don't think I'm done with understanding Eris yet but I do know that she is often misunderstood on many different levels. Eris and my moon trine my Mercury and I find it too easy talk about the injustice that I see. In fact I tell everyone (merc 9th house). I have days where I would rather not and I can stay quiet but usually only when my life or some aspect of my life depends on it. If I can't speak it then I'll write it but 95% of the time it has to be expressed. I don't enjoy seeing conflict or creating it but if it gives me too much internal torment then I will speak up regardless of the consequences. Hypocrisy is an odd one. There's a big difference between staying quiet about something that you've seen and pretending to be something that you're not. Fakery is a deliberate attempt to deny or hide the real self. Staying quiet is the middle ground on the road to truth and realness. I don't think this is an easy option and I can't say that I blame those who have the ability to be superficial because I have days where I would love to be like it myself. And I've already said if I don't speak it then I write it down but not everyone gets to read it  I think what I want - Is to be allowed my Eris moments. Eris could've kept quiet, but why should she? Just so that it would make it easy for everyone else? We can all try to keep strife and discord out of our life but ultimately she's gonna turn up anyway. IP: Logged |

I read that Eris likes to create trouble in one of my readings ,somewhere.
Then,it sits back and watches with glee lolMy friend had more of a jumping in where she saw injustice.
However, she had bad consequences cuz it was poorly thought out.
I saw her the closest up of anyone else.
It is hard to separate Eris from other parts of the chart but I can feel Eris in people pretty well .
It has it's own vibe.

5 degrees, an 7 degrees to chiron, the trine to merc is tighter at 3 degrees, it sits in my 5th which is the house of creativity and self expression. People say a lot of things about the planets qualities but it's always going to be coloured by their own perspective. It's only my interpretation of it that sees it this way. I can see how others project themselves into the characters, maybe they like to cause trouble then sit back and watch it happen? Strife and discord are born from somewhere, they don't just appear out of thin air, Eris had parents....but there's a question as to whether her father wanted to admit he helped to create her. This says to me that people have an issue around accepting that they too, help to create Eris (strife and discord). It is said she was a child of the night(nyx), the night is a representation of the subconscious. The strife and discord within us provokes a battle between the internal Hera, Aphrodite and Athena. This is a very real thing that takes place out there in reality. As women we do have to choose between marriage, beauty and whatever else. This is why people don't like Eris. Because she makes us aware that somewhere in life we might have made a sacrifice for the sake of marriage, beauty or success. Not everyone is going to have a good way to deliver her message but to blame all ills on her is simply not right. Eris had more integrity than any of those goddesses and yet she got the blame for all of the trouble that followed after she exposed their fakery.....
