I have noticed that there is a big focus on Eros/psyche aspects in synastry and the only person in my life that I have had Eros/psyche conjunction was a girl I was best friends for about 10 years. There seems to be very little focus on Eros trine Eros and both times in my life that have been deeply in love and felt instant soul connection I had Eros trine Eros with significant other and both of these guys are still in my life even though one I met 9 years ago. When it comes to longevity look at the Saturn & North Node aspects. Also, to find soul connections look mainly at the Psyche, Alma, Spirit, Link, Destinn, & Union asteroids. Eros is a "sexual" asteroid so Eros trine Eros means that you don't have a problem turning each other on. I have Eros sextile Eros with someone and that is definitely true for us. IP: Logged |

I am not familiar with some of the Asteroids you mentioned.
Can you elaborate more ?

Thanks moonfish for your feedback!! I will look into saturn and northnode for longevity and the asteroids you mentioned. I have noticed that a lot of my significant relationships are with guys that have psyche in gemini and I have the 7th house in gemini and northnode in gemini but Eros in Leo and Psyche in Scorpio. What you said about Eros trine Eros very true and this aspect is a weakness for me and I guess this might be the case because I have leo in venus, mars, vertex and karma so I tend to confuse sex with love so for me good sex that touches your soul is love. Remember moonfish that Eros is about Erotic love, love that transforms and touches your soul. Is not just a lust or sexual thing with Eros is about merging and transcending. Also I would imagine that Eros trine Eros is more intense than Eros sextile and Eros and a conjunction more intense than a trine. I have noticed that trines for ME create more attraction than conjunctions though because conjunctions feel too familiar. IP: Logged |

I have noticed that I am more attracted to people I have trines with when it comes to venus/mars and eros/eros synastry aspects than conjunctions as conjunctions feels to similar and familiar hence element of mystery lacks for my taste. Same experience as you! And yes Eros trine Eros is pretty hot to have, it feels very soulful, at least to me.. but it could also be that my psyche is activated too, since she sits on top of Eros in my chart. *no pun intended*
