Natally, my VESTA is conjunct my NNODE-OSIRIS. I wonder how to interpret NODE-OSIRIS. I'm going to presume I 'hold it with devotion', as it seems related to my greater destiny -- something of which I am very mindful.IP: Logged |

Yes, Osiris is the sacrificial king, in a way. He has to be torn into pieces, before he can be put together again. In this way he is symbolic of the cathartic process a true king has to go through to gain awareness of his true Self (right into the single pieces). However he does need the assistance of the magical abilities and the patience, faith and compassionate love of his partner Isis to be able to gain resurrection and live again. However, going through that cathartic process renders him utterly transformed, with the knowledge of the mysteries of life and maybe more importantly death (and resurrection). Thus he becomes the king of the underworld and the judge of those in transition. I find it interesting that he is not their guide (that would be Anubis), but their judge. What a responsibility! To weigh the hearts of souls! (BTW this is the older version, in younger versions it is Anubis who is doing the actual weighing, but I was relating this to the old kingdom) Osiris has the understanding about the human soul, through his own experience of dying and coming apart, which is why he is lord of the underworld I suppose (I see the underworld also symbolic of the subconscious workings in a person, maybe even relating to a shadow side, but I am not sure aobut htis, maybe it is more neutral).
Isis does not have this experience, her experience is that of mourning her loved one, of the one being left behind. I suppose that might be the reason why Osiris can JUDGE (from a more mind-oriented background, from knowing because of experience), while Isis method`s is that of COMPASSION (more emotionally coloured). You know what that means for what you are in the process of becoming I suppose, yes?

Vesta conjunct Talent exact Vesta semi-sextile Jupiter Also aspecting Cupido, BML and Juno. From this I gather I have a major focus on finding love, in fact I may have a flair at devoting myself to this endeavour or a mate. In synastry, I have Vesta conjunct his Psyche.

That was incredible information as always, Ceri. I'm finally beginning to see how and why I have OSIRIS-NNODE-VESTA. Wow. I've got to process that, as it's being grokked on a very deep level. His JUNO-MEGAIRA is on my ISIS, too; 1°. His KARMA is on my VESTA-NNODE-OSIRIS. I've always found that interplay intriguing. My placement is similar, but my VESTA conjuncts my 7H VERTEX 2°, together with OSIRIS 0° (and ISIS, widely at 4°).Trine MARS 2°, widely sextile VENUS 4°, and semisextile SATURN-JUPITER 1-0°. VESTA has always been a key player for me, but it could just be because she's smack on my VX. Dunno how to think of that. In any case, she's my favorite of the "big four". IP: Logged |

Vesta is conjunct Neptune by 2 Conjunct Pallas by 2 And conjunct anti-vertex by 2It's also exactly conjunct Osiris So I've felt a lot of apathy lately but in general am devoted to creating art. In fact I think the apathy is even related, a symptom of this, because it's almost like being burnt out or at times when I can't find the meaning and purpose or perhaps have lost essential thread I can't do it which I'm not sure is there for a few creatives who probably are more consistent. Actually I mostly really do question art, I don't have an automatic reverence for it at all like for music and literature but again this feels at the core of any passion some how. When I'm on it though i can work all night, it occupies my every thought and I'm not satisfied until I've learnt everything and every style. In this state to me it's like finding the essence of something - bit like distilling in science. My strength is more in this process than having a natural skill. Unlike science there's no definitives and endless possibilities and that's why I think I've become lost but also why I'll regain attention. I suspect I should be using this passion with compassion to inspire others to create and that's when the meaning is always there too I just saw Osiris is exactly conjunct my vesta and I think that's where the distilling comes in - which in constant sifting is a lot to do with judgement. Often taking apart whatever the focus is to put it back together with hopefully the essence on the outside. Isis is opposite venus too IP: Logged |
