Hi!Could anyone tell me how this might play out in my natal in regards to becoming an author? Also Arachne - itīs in my 10th house Gemini at a critical degree with a connection to my sun in Virgo...i know that there is a lot of Mercury-signs pointing to a writing proces, but are the asteroids giving more signs of beeing good at it/succesfull? Hope you will/can help me with this one :-)

The image has expired, could you draw it up at astro.com and post it into the thread? I will take a look at it tomorrow for you. Or just post your date of birth and I'll look over at serennu. I never pay much attention to the trines etc I only bother with the ones that are conjunct the natal planets. There's just so many of them and you tend to find that it's the ones that are conjunct that will be playing out in life any way. IP: Logged |

Okay, sorry I took so long to get back, having Tyche con mc and talent con asc are going to give only a minimal amount of support. A planet conjunct the asc will give you a "look" but not necessarily any of the associated blessings that it would if it were conjunct a planet. So you might "look" as though you have talent or maybe you just look the part...Tyche translates as luck and on your mc may help you to get a break but neither of these is going to "let" you make a success of your writing or even contribute to the content.The ones that did stand out for me were Bacchus {29 virgo} Terpsichore {1 libra} and elatus also at 1 degree libra. Terpsichore was one of the muses and having this conjunct your mercury is going to be far more beneficial than any look or luck.... Terpsichore was the muse of dance and Bacchus liked the wine, on a lighter day I'd be asking you if you find yourself getting creative ideas when you're drunk and dancing  Elatus was a centaur and there's some info here that you might like

Are you wanting to write about yourself or the personality in some way? The house the sun falls in will often show the area of life that most interests us.... The asteroids will describe themes that resonate through you - they may even back up ideas of stories that you have or the theme itself will be of interest to you. Your basic birth chart says that writing is a viable option for you, the asteroids will tell you who is going to be joining the party and what kind of food or drink they'll be bringing along. Thank you SO much for all of this info! :-) Some of it makes a lot of sense to my, in regards to my thinking/writing process and the rest i will have to look a bit more into.
Iīm not a big fan of dancing...but i will take over the dancefloor - if you give me som redwine!....shame on you, Bacchus..ha ha....i do losen up, when i drink wine, but who dosenīt ?! I LOVE music, and i write alot of lyrics, rimes and poetry. Actually, i have always been able to write letters and speeches that rime, it is just so easy for me to do that..like the words becomes music in my mind...my great grandfarther had the same ability. At the moment i am writing a spiritual love story, but when i startet thinking about writing a book, i had my heart set on a self help book - i have a personal history that might help others to understand things about them selfs...so yes, writing about myself and the personality is a very good guess. I have Venus in my 11th house, in Leo...what does that say about making money from it? :-/ What about my moon in 7th house pisces...i see that i have a yod there - could this be pointing at writing love stories? Terpsichore is often pictured with a flute and i played the flute as a child..not very good at it, but i did..lol ... I think that i will try and get in contact with my muses and ask them, if they would like to drink and dance with me...he he.. Thanks again ;-)

you might need to put the long/latitude in manually or something, I know it's automatically set for g.m.t or something like that. Or maybe adjust the time manually..I'm not good with the tech side of things :-(I had wondered about the self help type stuff. Venus in Leo in the 11th, venus is usually a good indicator of money or things that have worth. I noticed the yod too and yes I can see where the spiritual love story would come in (pisces moon) in some ways that should help to balance out the heavy first house influence by "making" you more compassionate and considerate. There's lots of indicators for a life of service...or giving to others in some way. IP: Logged |

I did put the long/latitude in manually....there a just a lot of options to choose from in Zodiac, Coordinates and House System :-/ My vertex used to be in Aquarius at 26-something degree and with this system it is in pisces conjunct my moon...it makes more sense to me, when i look back on people in my life that i have had a special connection with :-) I do like those pisces men ...ha ha..
The hole story of my life, has surely made me very compassionate and considerate and i do have this life service going on..alot of giving - i coach people besides writing ;-) It looks like there is potential for all of the things that i like to do, i just have to live it even more :-) IP: Logged |

I'm sure others have complained about some of the data on serennu, I know the asteroids and planets are right but the angles/points are the ones that don't seem to match up but I do like it for the simplicity of being able to sort them by name or zodiac position, it makes it so much easier to see what you have near your planets.Writing is hard work because it can be so personally rewarding but it's difficult to keep going in the "early" days. Keep going VSPM, and have some fun with the asteroids. IP: Logged |

Yes it could but I've got Dionysus conjunct my mercury and I'm not all that into orgies ;-) and my sun is on 25 leo which is supposed to be the alcoholic degree...I'm not but my dad is. It may point to a predisposition...but if you know it's there anyway then it's not such a problem. Astrology can be good at telling us what we already know. IP: Logged |

Okay, i se, it dosent always have to be anything more then a potential or a disposition :-) I like that i tells us what we already know..itīs a great working tool :-) Maybe i could ask you for one more thing? I have twin girls age 16 and one of them has shown a great deal of interesset in astrology lately. She asked me, if i could ask you, to look at her chart? She wants to be an actor and an author ..is there any signs, any potential in her chart that points towards that? The writing she is very confident about, but acting is something she loves, but is affraid of not beeing good at, because she is very shy. Her data is: 01.02.95, 12.22PM, Odense, Denmark

I know! :-/ Mine is in the 1st house, conjunct pluto, mars and mercury...my moon is conjunct DC so it isnīt in directly opposition..my sun is at a 29 critical degree...do you also find yourself jumping from moon to sun and sun to moon, beeing all emotional one minut, and analyzing your feelings the next?
