I had this guy in my life but he cut things off about two weeks ago and it hurt bad for two days but now I just find that I don't feel pain or hate for him just compassion and unconditional love and a sense of loyalty for him and no hard feelings. Is there an asteroid that encompasses qualities I just described? An asteroid that specializes on unconditional love?

Thanks!

Amelia

Amor probably.

Probably mostly if coupled with Moon, Jupiter or Neptune.

Its probably a combination of attitude with an aspect him and I share. I have been working on myself a lot and how I cope with things.

Has anyone heard of asteroid Agapenor? I am thinking perhaps this asteroid has something to do with it.

It turns out that I have Angel in Leo at Aries point. My Angel and Valentine fall under his 7th house and his vertex conjucts my venus and mars which fall under his 7th. My Agapenor trines his Juno. Think the answer might be this Agapenor aspect.

What do you know about the asteroid angel?

AP is 00 Aries, 00 Cancer, 00 Libra and 00 Capricorn (only the 00 degreees of cardinal signs).

I have Angel exactly conjunct my ASC, I think maybe it signifies some sort of spiritual inclination or even a feeling of being protected somehow. In synatry it might be a very supportive "watching over you" vibe.

Thanks for clarifying about the Aries point. The only cardinal asteroid that I know of that I have at aries point then would be Aphrodite which I have in cancer.

.....so if my angel falls under his seventh house then this could explain why I want to watch over him or am I watching over the relationship with him?. Thanks for your input!

I think she picked it because it contains the word "Agape", which is a form of altruistic platonic love.

Wikipedia has this definition:

"Many have thought that this word represents divine, unconditional, self-sacrificing, active, volitional, and thoughtful love. Although the word does not have specific religious connotation, the word has been used by a variety of contemporary and ancient sources, including Biblical authors and Christian authors. Thomas Jay Oord has defined agape as "an intentional response to promote well-being when responding to that which has generated ill-being."[2] Contemporary philosopher Slavoj Žižek refers to it as "political love."[3] Greek philosophers at the time of Plato and other ancient authors have used forms of the word to denote love of a spouse or family, or affection for a particular activity, in contrast to philia (an affection that could denote friendship, brotherhood or generally non-sexual affection) and eros, an affection of a sexual nature."

BTW Agapenor was one of those who fought the Trojan war. I found this on him:

"Agapenor (Greek: Ἀγαπήνωρ; gen.: Ἀγαπήνορος was in Greek mythology a leader of the Arcadians in the Trojan war.[1] He was a son of Ancaeus, and grandson of Lycurgus. As king of the Arcadians he received sixty ships from Agamemnon, in which he led his Arcadians to Troy.[2][3] He also occurs among the suitors of Helen.[4][5] He was one of the men to be in the Trojan Horse.[6]

On his return from Troy he was cast by a storm on the coast of Cyprus, where he founded the town of Paphos and in it the famous temple of Aphrodite.[7] He also occurs in the story of Harmonia.[8]

Agapenor had a daughter Laodice, who was known for having sent to Tegea a robe as a gift to Athena Alea[9], and to have built a temple of Aphrodite Paphia in Tegea.[10]

I just realized that I have chiron and neptune transiting my 7th house in my solar return. I think this could explain why I still feel love for him even though he broke up with me. Neptune is making me idealize the connection and approach relationship in a selfless manner while I heal over break up (chiron in the 7th solar transit).

Do Venus and Neptune aspect one another in your natal chart?

I have the square and there's been a lot of moments over the course of my life where I've found myself thinking and feeling the exact same things you mentioned in your OP...and wondering what's wrong with me lmao.

Venus-Neptune can make you have a seemingly bottomless pit of love for people even when you shouldn't and they don't deserve it.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me BelligerentPygmy . I checked my natal and it turns out that my neptune trines my venus and yes i am the type of person that if I care about someone even if it ends or person maybe doesn't deserve it I can't help still continue to care for them. It really helps me feel a lot better about the situation understanding that my current solar transit of chiron and neptune in the 7th combined with neptune-venus natal aspect explains how I am reacting to ending of relationship. Understanding the origin of it helps me heal and let go. I think when I don't understand why something is occurring I can become fixated trying to figure out situation which is not good but If I find understanding I then can let go. Again thanks for sharing!
