How does Lucifer manifest itself in the natal chart?

I have it conjunct my Mercury by 1 deg (and about 10 deg. away from my Sun but I'm not sure if that holds much significance). What could this mean?

I have quite a few asteroids that are conjunct my Sun, Mercury, Ascendant and/or ruling planet (Mercury) but this aspect I am most intrigued and confused by.

I see Lucifer as pride as that embodies the Biblical story. He would not bow his knee to God. He wanted the worship which should be God's alone.

Where we are proud is where we would have Lucifer.We, all are proud
