Topic: Nessus and Dejanira in synastry

So I've been seeing this guy for several months but lately I've been really picking up on some controlling/Plutonian vibes and slight emotional abuse. We have mostly soft (sextile and trines) Pluto aspects so I've been really confused as to the source of this energy.I am wondering if it's because his Nessus is conjunct my ascendant and my Dejanira is conjunct his ascendant (both applying and under 3 degrees). Could/would these aspects alone be the astrological answer to where this malevolent behavior is coming from? Additionally do these aspects seem like deal breakers that would facilitate an emotionally abusive/cruel relationship and totally preclude any possibility of a healthy/normal relationship? Well, as to whether they are deal breakers? I would say "No". They can be wonderful chances to heal your past abuse. However, they are like dynamite,imo.

Thanks Ami Anne for the reply; I'm glad to see that it might be used for good and not just evil. Unfortunately (based on recent events) the writings are on the wall and this situation seems like it will escalate further into the latter negative energy. For instance, tomorrow is my birthday and I don't think I'll see or hear from him let alone get a birthday gift or do anything special :-\. Weird that it started out as one of the most positive connections (guess that was the potential good/healing you speak of) of my life and now has deteriorated to this point :-(IP: Logged |

No, none whatsoever...although I had a cold/distant relationship with my father (we have Sun/Saturn double whammy conjunctions), my mother more than made up for that by being extra warm, affectionate, nurturing, et cetera. Then again neither Nessus or Dejanira is prominent in my chart, just in this particular synastry.
