Topic: Valentine (#447) will make cheaters loyal?

Let's say there was a guy who's known for being a cheater, but one day he met a girl who's Sun & Ascendant make a exact trine to his Valentine. She knows that he's geniuely attracted to her, for instance, he calls the girls he sleeps with "hot" & "sexy" but calls her "beautiful" & "gorgeous". Though despite the differences on how he treats other girls compared to the way he treats her, she still doesn't trust him. Could these aspects to his Valentine really make him want to have a serious-relationship with this girl & be loyal to her? Afterall, Valentine is the asteroid of "True love & Sacrfice."IP: Logged |

No asteroid will make a person cheat or be faithful but the wrong/right relationship will. People cheat because something is missing, certain placements are more prone to be unfaithful but you have to look for the reasons behind this. I was with a "serial cheater" for 5 years and he never strayed....simply because the relationship was okay but had it continued then it's highly likely he would've done - or I would have. The answer to your question is no valentine wouldn't make him want to have a serious relationship and be loyal. You have to look at saturn for commitment or even pluto. The whole synastry thing needs to be looked at. We can never just take one planet or asteroid or aspect and place any great weight upon its shoulders. If we look at the whole picture we can see what supports a relationship and what can or could cause problems but even then we have to see how things are playing out in reality too. If she doesn't trust him then there's no point pursuing anything and I'm not talking about blind trust but a basic trust that she'll see how things go without judging him on his past which is what is happening. The pattern needs to be identified - what led to him cheating in the past, and then it can be avoided. IP: Logged |

Thanks you :] your statement is very true, but I have one more question - How exactly does valentine effect a relationship as far as "true love"?the only saturn & pluto aspects they share are:
her moon trines his pluto
her moon quintiles his saturn
her jupiter trines his saturn
her ascendant squares his saturn
her midheaven conjuncts his saturn
her saturn bi-quintiles his Venus The thing of it is she really liked him before she found out what he does. IP: Logged |

Honestly, that's not always the case; sometimes it really isn't the other person's fault and it's just that the cheater is the type that always needs something new and different and doesn't really know how to settle down because either it's just not in their nature to; or they're just immature and not ready to yet. The guy you were with was probably just tired of scr**ing around by the time you met him, he'd finally burnt out on it. But to answer the original question no, I don't think any one astrological aspect will affect that type of thing one way or another. If a guy is the type that just naturally isn't inclinated towards faithfulness, having positive aspects to one asteroid isn't going to make him suddenly decide to keep it in his pants. IP: Logged |

BP I never said it was anyones "fault". People cheat for a reason - it may not be anyone else's idea of a valid reason but there is psychology behind it. There's also reasons that people get involved with people who cheat but no one likes to look at that. And no, he wasn't burnt out, it's taken him a year to get back to his old ways but he's back there.....Valentine might give an air of romance. If you have his time of birth then give it a good going over, see what points to his past behaviour, look at the davison and composite charts. aspects from venus to uranus will show instability whereas venus to saturn will show longevity. See which house her saturn lands in - in his chart, if its in his 5th or 8th it would help to settle him. He's not forced to repeat his behaviout - depends on the level of honesty, if he can talk to her about his past then thats a good sign. IP: Logged |
