Was thinking of another little system of a possible categorizing for asteroids, for those interested. Might help not to get lost in all the detail information asteroids can deliver.

It is of course just one possible way of grouping them together, and everyone probably has their own.

But for those who feel like they are "lost in a swamp", it might maybe help.
(and as always it is nothing for all eternity, as I am always working and finetuning on this).

One word about orbs. I know everyone uses their own orbs, but just wanted to give my preferred orbs.
3 degrees at most for conjunctions, 2 degrees for the other aspects; if the aspects are under 1 degree, they may get really "serious", and the asteroid theme might become more pronounced.
This is probably especially true if it is an under one degree conjunction to Sun, Moon, ASC or chartruler. (and additionally Venus and Mars in synastry).

This categorization is for synastry; and I believe in past lives, but for those who don´t, Karma or the lessons we face or the "past" can very well simply relate to the beginning of this life, maybe even the subconscious memories of the prenatal phase.

II.

soulmate-pairings;
some of these might also indicate shared past lives (at least for those who believe in reincarnation).

Roman-Greco
-------------
° Eros (Cupido) - Psyche
° Pluto - Proserpina/Persephone
° Zeus/Jupiter - Hera/Juno

Egyptian:
-----------
° Osiris - Isis

Indian:
---------
° Siva - Parvati
° Siva - Kaali (tantrik connection)

Sumerian:
-----------
° Adonis - Inannen (Ishtar)

As you can see that these are parings between Gods and Goddesses, or at least one immortal with a mortal that through the union become deified (Psyche, Adonis).

All these pairings deal with cyclic development and transformation, sometimes literally signified by death and rebirth (Isis/Osiris, Siva/Parvati, Adonis/Inannen).

In other cases there is a going down in the underworld and back again (Psyche, Proserpina/Persephone).

Interestingly several of these deal with an abduction-theme.
Pluto abducted Proserpina/Persephone
Eros abducted Psyche

My personal interpretation is that, that we collectively and individually often tend to resist transformation, changing, growing even if it is necessary.
both, Psyche and Prosperina/Persephone, were elevated through their marriage,w hich followed the abduction, and force to leave their usual surroundings.

Zeus and Hera`s marriage was a stormy one, and it underwent the same cycle again and again.
As a matter of fact in the beginning of their relationship Zeus DID try to abduct or rather "take" her (in any way possible), but she demanded to be married first. lol

Anyway, as we all know zeus was not the faithful one, and at some times Hera would just withdrew and leave him for a while to wander the earth on her own; which was when zeus started to panick she might leave him for good, searched her and asked her and convinced her to come home, which she did, and so the circle could start anew.
(it is not really my favourite couple of the pairings here. lol)

I`m wondering though if the story about Dionysos/Bacchus-Ariadne should have a place here as well. As Ariadne was being deified by her marriage to Bacchus,a nd again it was a pairing of mortal and immortal, and there was a transformation at play, too. This time not about growing up, or coming of age (like Proserpina and Psyche had to), but a story of a "second chance". As Ariadne had been in love and had been deserted by her lover, and it was Bacchus who found her, fell in love with her and "crowned" her.

--------------------

Even though no gods and goddesses I always like to check for Arthur - Guinevere - Lancelot, especially if checking for shared past lives.
AND it might also be strong in relational triangles.

Oh yeah, definitely, I mean I think you can even feel a 2 degree conjunction or trine, but if those orbs are exact, ...!

Great one, Ceri!

Now, the question is: do the more tragic couples like

Orpheus/Eurydice
Pyramus/Thisbe
Tristan/Isolde
Hylonome/ Cyllarus
Daphnis/Chloe
etc.

should be included as markers of romantic love, despite the outcome?

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...
