I was reading up on another thread and was curious about the placement of my desiderata asteroid. It looks like it's at 7 degrees Virgo in my 7th house. I googled but can't find anything about this placement. Also I don't know what this asteroid is about: is it about what you consider desirable in your chart, or where others consider YOU desirable?

I'm thinking that in synastry it relates to how much you desire the other person and that in the natal it shows what you desire most. Or at least that's definitely the way it plays out in my natal chart.

I saw your thread about desiderata in synastry in this forum *after* I had posted here. The thread I mention reading and which inspired my q was a different one though (a product of LL search so I no longer have the specs; I think a much older thread on asteroids before the asteroids forum came about).
So according to what you speculate above, desiderata in the 7th may indicate that "what I desire most" is relationships/partnerships with Virgo people? Hmm, something to think about!
