Woman's Dejanira 09'56" Man's Venus 09'05"anything of significance in a romantic relationship? Venus is what we desire/wish to attract, Deja is an abused archetype... would her wound put him off, or does he love her in spite of this? IP: Logged |

Probably he would love her BECAUSE of this. Her vulnerability may attract him.IP: Logged |

Interesting.I agree with Ceridwen. Many men like to feel they can protect their partner, and a woman with a wound, even if she is healed, is still a woman who was hurt and needed protection and didn't receive it. He may feel he is the one to bring her the safety she deserved in her past. To digress slightly, how do you guys think Neptune would play out in place of Venus? All I can come up with is a rather dark interpretation, that the Neptune person may fantasise about abusing the Deja person in some way? Although the spiritual aspects of Neptune, could lead to the complete opposite interpretation, and lead the Neptune person to feel they must heal the Deja person? IP: Logged |

Venus is just the lower vibration of Neptune anyway. So if venus conjunct that means the guy likes her because of her woundedness, then why wouldn't the same thing be applicable for Deja conjunct Venus's higher vibration? It makes no sense. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure I fully understand how Venus is the lower vibration of Neptune ... ? So, if Venus = attraction to the wound or vulnerability it produces, Neptune = the capacity to heal the wound? IP: Logged |

One aspect of Venus and Neptune as I see it is this (though there are of course other expressions of these two, too):Venus = personal love (usually striving for relating in a very personal one-on-one way Neptune = spiritual love (more allencompassing instead of personal) The difference I see is that neptune-Deja maybe would not so much be about being "personally attracted" to the Deja-girl, but having a lot of compassion for her, maybe even without discrimination.

Ahh that is a lovely interpretation Ceridwen. Gosh, I am such a pessimist! So, Neptune may represent the elusive 'unconditional love', or at the least the potential for it ... IP: Logged |

Yes, I think on good days Neptune may represent exactly that.

Interestingly I don`t really know people who have planets conjunct my Dejanira. At least I am not aware of it. My Dejanira is on 00 Aries.I recall though that I once met a guy who had his KAALI conjunct my Dejanira and his Mars was opposing it. Additionally his NESSUS was conjunct my DESC and quinkunx my Venus. (On top of that his Venus was conjunct my Sun and Mercury, but his Uranus and Pluto were squaring his Venus and my Sun, Mercury). I LITERALLY ran away and broke off every contact; I did not know about the asteroids back then, but I had never before heard such shrill alarm bells ringing in my head. Partly I think I was being irrational, but well, partly I still think that my instinct was maybe spot on. Who knows for sure? EDIT: I want to say though that I do not think that any planet conjunct Dejanira is necessarily trying to "victimize" her. But having the more harsh or very powerful energies touching her in synastry (like Pluto, Mars, etc.), might overwhelm her.

Thanks, Ceri, that is an interesting interp. Probably would have to have other indicators for this in the synastry, since it seems like asteroids back up what is going on with the basic 10, angles, etc. And then when they do back it up, they add TONS of v.detailed, specific info that would be hard to get from the basic chart. ^ No, actually there's nothing in the synastry that would point to that. If anything, it is my chart, factors that are in my natal and in our synastry that make me want to nurture/protect/heal him. One of the strong ones is his Saturn in my 8th. I'm always attracted to the vulnerability of people with that Saturn placement in my chart.IP: Logged |
