This is what I am beginning to notice about oppositions based on my family and myself. The opposition results in person repressing the energy of one of the planets but if person is self aware enough can get both energies to work together similar to a conjunction . Just a theory. In my case I use both my logic and intuition and wisdom to help myself and others.

Thanks for clarifying this....perhaps I have a trine or sextile to the opposition bc I also have sun opposite moon and moon opposite mercury but they both are involve in a t square with neptune in the first.

Could the mediator be neptune in the first then since wisdom opposite moon and conjunct mercury would also be involve in a t square with neptune in the first ??

I got the repression idea about oppositions bc of my mom, she has venus opposite pluto and I act out the pluto for her and she has always repressed her pluto and projects it onto others.

but I understand what you are saying about opposites and I took it too far with my theory but your further explanation fills in that gap bc I do handle the opposites in my chart without repressing or projecting so is either the neptune in the first acting as mediator or perhaps something else.

Wow.......yes my sun/moon midpoint conjuncts my neptune by 2 orbs so then this is why I can handle opposites in my three t squares???

I dont have any planets that sextile or trine my sun or moon or mercury so it must be the sun/moon midpoint conjunct neptune. ohhh and Also my sun/moon midpoint trines my venus and mars exact mars and by 1 orb venus! so yes it is that ....

Edit:
I find that I specially had to assert my identity with my mother who represents neptune in my chart as my moon in pisces conjuncts IC. I do have progressed pluto in the first so this probably makes it easy to assert my identity when others project themselves unto me.

***ohh and pluto entered the first around the age of 12 which is probably when I started been more assertive with my mother which ofcourse she did not like.

Oh and sun/moon midpoint sextiles pluto by 4 orbs.
