Topic: Is Nessus the same for a man's chart?

In a man's natal, Nessus sq Venus, could this also be considered an abused energy, abused by girlfriends perhaps? Or could he be attracted to vulnerable/scarred women? Orb is 00'50"IP: Logged |

I just realized I may have Nessus confused with Deja. Whoops. Well, still interested in what it could mean.Now if I remember more correctly Nessus is like a dark Pluto, as if Pluto could get darker, am I right? So could this have the flavoring of a Venus/Pluto aspect? IP: Logged |

Lonake, I hope you get responses to your q's. I wanted to ask if you or anyone else have any clue about natal Nessus opposite GA. Natal Nessus is in my 4th house close to the 5th house cusp at 14 Gem. 
From what I have read so far, yes, Nessus is like a "dark Pluto" alright. Power control, abuse, you name it, this guy (Nessus lol) is about. That much I reckon from my reading.
I wonder if it means that I will always have pain and turmoil in my 4th/5th house matters. ..  At least Pluto has some redeemable value, right? Like the Phoenix is always rising from the ashes, or so they say...  thanks,

Nessus from a girl to her guy's Venus usually manifests as a form of mild obsession, some extra possessiveness.
It is very rare for him to be abused by his girlfriend.
This energy is difficult when it is Mother to Son. The Mother may be very strict and some of her actions may border on emotional abuse. Parents with this aspect must go easy on their son else the son will attract a girl whose Venus squares his Nessus and subconsciously take revenge on his mother by emotionally abusing his partner.------------------

True Ami. Astrology is like solving a Simultaneous Equation in a Matrix. Every aspect matters and every collection of aspects will matter. I have not mentioned this much but Astrological Inheritance also counts. If in 7 generations prior, the Y-Chromosome owners has regular Nessus afflictions, then the probability of the man being a menace should he also have a Nessus affliction is much much more than compared to another man born on the same day, even same time.

If that's the case then it seems the standard with Nessus is to look for aspects to personal planets, angles too I suppose, but I'm practically starting out with asteroids, starting to feel my way through them.

@Lonake: In a Man's Natal, Nessus exact square Venus will give him an impulse to be fond of rough sex. He need not play this out, but I can assure you, it will dominate his fantasies.
With many other harsh aspects [Neptune square Moon or Mars square a retrograde Mercury], it will manifest as misogyny.@Sand: If you are a Man, and are in this forum, your Soul is positive enough to not be affected by a Nessus sq Venus aspect.
If you are a woman, the aspect orb is in the danger zone. You need to post your chart. You must do a synastry check before getting into a physical relationship, for you must avoid men with with afflicted Mars combined with afflicted Moon or Venus, and those who Nessus squares your Dejanira.
They might get physically abusive towards you when life treats them harshly. I am not talking out of my hat but relating from real experiences of clients and contacts. ------------------

Interesting, thanks, I'll keep this in mind, I have Nessus opp Venus exact, I'm guessing that energy would be similar to the sq. Plus they're both sq to Pluto, about 1 deg.IP: Logged |
