Fixed stars are not fixed, not moving, as was once thought. They do move, but not like planets do. They move very, very slowly and with a different form of movement, which is too much physics for me to get in to ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. The orbs are very small. Most fixed stars have a small orb of 1 degree except Algol which can have a larger one, as it is so "evil".*Disclaimer---Astrologers may disagree so I am just reviewing some info I have found. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. IQ once analysed my chart and said i have some sort of karmic thing going on. he said i was a sort of a sacred prostitute (cannot remember the more sophisticated word he used, LOL).my AC/DC are conjunct the Eastern and Western Royal stars (Antares AC, Aldebaran CD). then my Saturn at 0 deg. Virgo is conjunct the southern Royal star Regulus. then my Sun is conjunct Galactic Centre. what IQ told me was really fascinating, i have to find that email again and read it once more. IP: Logged |

quick look, i think he mentioned something here and we went off to email exchanges. so i'm missing how it started, but he didn't say "prostitute" LOL. he said "Your thoughts on sexuality are highly evolved and I am certain you had knowledge of Tantra in the past lifeline". i recall he mentioned something about Royal karmic debts (?) and my sexuality being a sort of a healing or service to others = Tantra. i'm curious, as you said fixed stars are not actually fixed, and Regulus just entered Virgo last month getting tighter to my Saturn.

It seems like Fixed stars are special blessings or opportunities might be a better way to say it. Many of them have an opportunity feeling with them that you can do very well or not take opportunities and do very badly. It seems almost like Hekate in that you could go either way. What is one to make of unfortunate ones? Is this a foreshadowing of sorrow, misfortune etc? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

remember when the terrible incident of the Austrian man keeping his daughter in the basement dungeon for decades, raping her and raising some of the children that he didn't kill?i remember at this forum someone pointed out this daughter has a planet conjunct Algol. it's the most unfortunate star. i like that Galactic Centre = charisma. it's in my first house cj. Venus too. i should be wondering why my handprints are not on Hollywood walk of fame. IP: Logged |

ami, algol opposes my sun by like 1 or 2 degrees...i'm not sure exactly because it doesnt show algols exact degree------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

Nicki, you can check the degrees here. http://www.astrologycom.com/fixedstars.html i have been under the impression (might have read this somewhere?) that aspects rather than tight conjunction (0-1.5 deg) don't matter much. there are so many Fixed stars and if we start looking at every aspect our planets and points make to every fixed star, that's going to be endless. if you have a planet tightly conjunct a fixed star, AND if other planets and points have aspects to that planet, they may be influenced via the conjunct planet. so your opposition may not be that big of a deal? Thank you anyways ...the way I see it, the GC conjuncts exact my neptune and neptune in the first is the strongest planet in my chart according to the pullen report so it has to be somewhat significant. Neptune is part of two tsquares and more tsquares if you include asteroids such as Horus. IP: Logged |

Just found something useful for anyone interested in checking out their fixed stars: http://www.astromark.us/fixedstar.pdf So Far I found that I have Rigel conjunct NN by 2 orb: T: Rigel -is located in Orion at 17º Gemini (Orion’s left toe). Rigel brings the need to teach and educate society to a larger world view. It is the concept of bringing forward development not just for the self, but for the many. Ptolemy suggests that the brightest star in Orion has a Jupiter/Saturn nature. Rigel is the educator. And Toliman conjuncts my psyche exact: Y: Toliman - Located in the constellation Centaurus, the Centaur, at 24° Scorpio. Brady suggests using this star only in births below 29° South latitude (San Antonio,TX; Orlando, FL), although research needs to be done to better understand issues of if stars are effective when not visible. In general, the centaurs Chiron and Pholos were thought to be gentle and on their way to an altar to make a sacrifice. It follows the line of thinking about Chiron of the wounded healer. It is the desire to expand others. Denebola opposes my moon exact and conjuncts my MC and mercury: I: Denebola -Located in the tail of the constellation Leo at 21° Virgo, Ptolemy suggests this star has characteristics of Saturn and Venus. EARTHLINES™ Map areas under the influence of this star may show areas where you are out of step with mainstream society. You see the world through a different lens; on the edge of the establishment. When aligned with planets in your astrology chart, it may show that the planets involved carry a nonconformist energy. *so I am non conformist about how I love and on my views on what love is I guess this means and my thinking is none conformist and this will both influence my career and home life. Also, my NN at 19 conjuncts Bellatrix by 2 orbs: F: Bellatrix - Located at 21º Gemini in the left shoulder of Orion. It represents success by facing the shadow. Personal weakness can show itself here on the way to success. Marilyn Monroe and Vincent Van Gogh had Bellatrix strong in their chart; both had a tragic nature to their success. You must work on spiritual growth for success, but it comes with a price. It was also seen as an Amazon female warrior; coming quickly and swiftly destroying. Personal weakness is exposed in order that you can strengthen it. IP: Logged |
