IQ,
Would an eclipse conjunct, opposition, square or quincunx (according to Rose Lineman) an asteroid have an effect if there were no planets in aspect? However, if there were no natal but progressed planets in aspect would that work? I know eclipses have an effect on both natal planets and progressed w/ the above aspects listed.
My progressed Uranus will be at 29.58 Libra in natal 6th house progressed 5th house quincunx the Eclipse.
Example : This year there will be an eclipse at 0.21 Gemini this will conjunct the asteroid for my name in my natal and within 2 deg of my south node ( natal 1st and progressed 12th )in opposition of my asteroid Tyche 29.32 Scorpio 7th (natal)and progressed Tyche at 24.54 Scorpio 6th plus NN 2.09 Sag.
I am going to look at the chart for 3 months later to see if this is going to set off anything once the sun is in position and keep an eye on Mars as he will give action to any possible event.
I am just wondering if an eclipse would set off an asteroid if the aspect was close enough even without a planet in aspect or would you need a planet to set it off ?
Later in the year there will be an eclipse at 21.57 Scorpio conjunct my progressed Tyche at 24 Scorpio and square my progressed MC/IC and quincunx progressed Venus at 22 Gemini and progressed ASC at 19.21 Gemini.
If I were to pull an eclipse chart what would you you suggest I look for?
