Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is Artemis. He is the god of music, playing a golden lyre. The Archer, far shooting with a silver bow. The god of healing who taught man medicine. The god of light. The god of truth, who can not speak a lie.

One of Apollo's more importaint daily tasks is to harness his chariot with four horses an drive the Sun across the sky.

He is famous for his oracle at Delphi. People travled to it from all over the greek world to devine the future.

interesting, i do get tunnel vision. i did think that was my aries mercury, and then i read it could be my pluto. those oppose in my chart.

Some Thoughts on the Apollo Asteroid

Was Apollo put on earth to reflect beauty, to shine, and with that shining, bring beauty in to the lives of others. I am thinking that Apollo is simply an image of beauty. Apollo’s beauty is not self centered, though. It was made to shine forth in such a way that it would be a balm for the weary travelers on life’s road.

I thought I would add a direct quote from a beautiful man, who has Sun conjunct Apollo

“Apollo…the light bringer, the artist, the prophet, and the healer. that is what i aspire to find in myself with Apollo’s guidance. He has given me a gift and I intend to let my light shine. xx�

How Apollo is that!

Or this other case, when he was chasing that nymph, Daphne, who spurned him and fled him.
He wouldn´t let up and when she realized he would catch her, she begged to be turned into a tree, which happened.
Apollo embraced the tree, but even the leaves shrank away from him. Then, coming back to reason, he swore that he would tend the tree and see that it prosper.

Are you aware of what constitutes fair usage of copyright material, as you may well be leaving yourself wide open here!!

I don't know what forum rules here suggests, but I do know astro.com allow 10 lines, plus appropriate "marks" or quote box and source cited.

on astrologyweekly they allow 100words plus using quote box and/or "mars" and no more than 3 quotes per post... AND cite the source

just be careful is what I'm saying as it's not this site that's liable, but YOU personally...and leaving yourself open to legal action

it's 1 degree and 54 minutes from my sun

from my understanding - this should just amplify what it touches? it seems like it's ruled by sagittarius and would be comfy in the 9th house.
