The planets usually are travelling a path of appr. 23° S to 23° N of the eccliptic (these are the declinations). If they are excceed 23° they are considered out of bound, and is supposed to give them a very strong effect. It is kinda rare for planets to go that far up or down, but the same is not true for asteroids. They can move out of bounds much more often. To stay on topic, my Eros is definitely out of bound. At about 54 degrees N I think. IP: Logged |

Out of bounds is what traditional astrologers use, NOT modernsOut of bounds – used by Traditional astrologers mainly in ‘horary’ http://www.astrology21.co.uk/b1outofbounds.html http://www.forrestastrology.com/General-Astrology/the-out-of-bounds-moon “Out-of-bounds planets can take us beyond the established limits of thought and action. They can signify extraordinary genius or point to volatile and aberrant behavior.” http://www.mandala.be/declination/pamela.htm http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-information/out-of-bounds.php “Certain planets travel out of bounds periodically (no matter where the Sun is positioned at the time) and when and if they do their energies are more extreme. They become wilder and their forces more magnified, either for good or ill. As they are beyond the limits imposed by the boss (the Sun), they can operate independently and without restraint. However by progression a natal planet may move out of bounds during the course of a person’s life and during that time the planet could operate more independently and freely” http://www.astrologer.com/aanet/pub/journal/declination-for-beginners.htm http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-information/out-of-bounds.php http://aliceportman.com/?p=24

True. I am way more skilled at horary than natal in my opinion. I rarely use the modern planet rulers. Honestly though, the way horary charts are delineated to produce an answer should be the way most people predict. In horary the last aspect the moon makes shows the outcome AND only ASPECTING and not SEPARATING aspects are used. MAJOR ASPECTS are used only (no quincunx/inconjunct, semi-sextile, semisquare/sesquiquadrate etc).
