Juno Asteroid
By amiann

The Juno Asteroid portrays one of the best parts of human nature. Think of grandmothers of days past who took their marriage vows seriously. They may be a dying species eople who value traditional marriage with the old fashioned traits like loyalty and fidelity. My grandmother was an image of Juno. She was loyal, kind and true. The Juno Asteroid embodies all one would want in a partner. Current life seems to be flash and glitter. Flash gets tiring when that is all one has. One gets tired of as an endless diet of cheesecake. One craves more enduring things. The Juno asteroid specializes in more enduring. To those are are fortunate to have her prominent, they will not be satisfied with the glitter forever. They want things of enduring vale. They want love that lasts when the flash is gone. Juno is the asteroid of people who love over the years and hold hands as the sun sets:walking toward it together.

I thought you might like this on Juno. It is easy to stay with the dark asteroids as they have a morbid fascination
However, the positive ones have an ethereal beauty as does Juno. I have a g/f with Juno conj the ASC. You can just feel that she is there for you as you can feel her loyalty. It is part of her. The asteroids on pivotal places such as ASC, Sun and Moon are very much a part of the person in an effortless way for better or worse lol

I was thinking about Juno today.
In whole houses she is in the 8th Leo 11 degrees
In equal houses she's in the 7th
I'm so confused

Juno in the 8th House: You need a Sex Machine for a partner. Since the 8th house rules the partner's possessions, well, they may regard you as a possession (especially if there are stress aspects). Marriage and partnership can also help you to reconstruct or transform yourself (whether you want to or not).

Juno in the eighth house may attract mates with resources. There are opportunities to regenerate through their legal mates. An inner confidence makes these natives feel it unnecessary to defend their positions to others. They are adamant about carrying out their own wishes or beliefs to the extent of defying authority.

It`s nicely written, yes, but Juno is not all just light and nice. her virtue lies in her absolute commitment and respect of her marriage vow.
But she also is very revengeful, and doesn`t always act out revenge at the real "sinner".
Also gets caught up easily in powerplays with her husband and others.
I don`t think Juno is very ethereal, though. She is much too grounded and pragmatic for this.
No fluffy romantic notions from her side (unless you have the asteroid in Pisces like I do. lol), she wants the "real" thing. And she`s struggling to maintain the balance of power in her relationship.

Thank you for your kind words Ceri and Strawberry

I did not know that about Juno, Ceri. My goal is always to use these. How would one use Juno in the chart?

What would the upshot be in your opinion?

I always use Juno, yes. She`s paired with Jupiter, plus she is very much about taking one`s vows seriously and commit.
But she`s not so much depicting that sweet, newly-in-love-feeling, but about how to maintain a relationship AFTER the honeymoon-phase, and yes, fights for equality often will also take place.
Also, there is a very passionate aspect to her, which is born by her fierce commitment.
IMO she shows how we want to manifest a relationship, how we make it "real", and that usually also includes establishing how to deal with each other in a phase, when the rosy fairy dust has settled.

Yes I had this feeling about her, too. That is why I wrote about my grandmother. I did not see her as a fairy dust woman lol

my aspects just back up my placements further. juno in gem h8 seems communication and sex are biggies..

sextile..

Juno Aspects Mercury: Well, your partner won't be quiet. Forget the silent type. Anyone who marries you will have to communicate, communicate, communicate. The harmonious aspects (conjunction, sextile and trine) indicate good communication between the two of you. It could also show that your ability to communicate improves with partnership. The stressful aspects (square and opposition) can indicate communication problems with partners. One of you may try to stifle the other here because you both want to talk at once.

opposition lol!

Juno Aspects Neptune: If you have a stressful aspect (conjunction, square, or opposition) between Juno and Neptune, please, PLEASE do not marry someone because you feel sorry for them or because you want to "save" them. Remember this magic number. If you do, you will never again have the problem of getting into a marriage for the wrong reasons. Please memorize it. It's 911. Dial that and have them taken away so they can be helped by a professional. Then, get into therapy yourself to cure your masochism. On the positive side especially with the harmonious aspects (sextile and trine) the partner will tend to be sensitive, empathetic, and imaginative. Marriage and partnership can also bring out these same traits in you. In all cases, there will be an inclination to over idealize the partner, to see what we want to see about them.

trine..

Juno Aspects Pluto: Partners will tend to be intense and secretive. Sex can be volcanic. Pluto is the planet of extremes, death, and transformation. Either your power or that of your partner will be affected by marriage. One of you is likely to be transformed in some way. The harmonious aspects (sextile and trine) can bring out a strength you never thought you had. The stressful aspects (conjunction, square, and opposition) will bring out strength too, in the form of dictatorial attitudes and power struggles. One of you will try to dominate the other. The feelings towards the partner can easily go from "I love you" to "I hate you" to "I'm obsessed with you." Even if the two of you break up, this will be the partner you never forget (for better or worse).
