Just trying to find out more about this and I've done some reading online about the effects and dynamics of this, which ring very true so far from what myself and my partner both feel. We have an exact conjunction from his Eros to my Psyche and a sign conjunction (7 degrees so too loose to be considered perhaps?) from my Eros to his Psyche. This is all taking place in Scorpio so perhaps this adds to the feeling of 'intensity'??  I've had the conjunction with one other person before and only one way and that was only because we were born very close together - there's 5 years between me and my partner so I'm just wondering what significance if any to draw from this almost 'double whammy'?? Even a single exact conjunction of Eros and Psyche is sufficient evidence that you are Soul Mates with at least one past lifeline where there was a relationship. The 7 degrees is not valid as a conjunction but since they are in the same sign, you will feel it because of the already existing Eros-Psyche conjunction. ------------------

Wow!! Thanks IQ!! The whole relationship feels very familiar and has done right from the start - we met online and talked for a while before meeting in person and as soon as we walked up to each other we just fell into each other's arms... as though we'd just been away for ages and we were coming home. There are lots of 'obstacles' to us spending time together and starting a life together - distance, having to take things slowly for my child's sake, deciding who moves where etc and not least the basic need to be 'sensible' and not rush things! But he keeps saying he just wants to pack everything up and come to me so we can be a family. It's the most bizarre, wonderful, extraordinary thing I've ever known! IP: Logged |

I have the conjunction in Aqua with my guy. He's Eros, I'm Psyche. The conjunction is in Aquarius, and the orb is about 4 degrees. He has always told me he thinks we're soulmates. He's a romantic Venus in Pisces, and I'm a cool Venus in Cap, but man, he really makes me melt. As a Venus Cap, I'm very afraid of vulnerability, but this guy brings it out of me. I've cried in front of him, and we've shared so many tender moments. We have lots of other great planetary and asteroid aspects, too. IP: Logged |

Starfairy that's so beautiful! Was it like love at first sight for you by any chance? We've both said so and last night he told me he felt I was his soulmate. He's Venus in Libra and I'm Venus in Scorp... God/Goddess help him ha ha! We seem to have a telepathic link... and it's so intense! Yes, it was love at first sight. It was one of those I-wasn't-supposed-to-be-there-that-night stories. I've never experienced love at first sight before (I'm a Venus Cap and therefore pessimistic), but wow. Was it the same for you? May I ask what the rest of your synastry is like?With the exact conjunction you guys have, as well as the sign conjunction, you guys are definitely in soulmate territory! I agree about the telepathic stuff, as well. It's very freaky! There have been times we've shown up to the same place, but I KNEW he'd be there. I can "sense" him. You guys must be very in tune with one another, since the conjunction goes both ways. I'd consider the 7 degree one veryyyy significant. If they consider sign conjunctions relevant, then a conjunction of 7 degrees is certainly strong enough! IP: Logged |

Amazing isn't it?! You sound like you've read the Eros/Psyche descriptions for each placement because what you said about 'I wasn't suppose to be there that night' fits exactly with Eros/Psyche conjunction! I know what you mean about pessimistic - my Moon is Cap and I mistrusted this initially but I'm well and truly hooked now! We also have an exact Venus/Pluto conjunction, Venus/Sun conjunction, Sun/Moon trine, Venus/Neptune conjunction and some rather tough Saturn squares but all in all, it feels like 'home.' First time we met there was no awkwardness and it was like we'd simply been away from each other for years... definitely not 'strangers.' What other aspects do you have - it'd be interesting to compare trends?That's fantastic about your link with him! I know what you mean about 'sensing' him. It's as though the other person's feelings are happening to you too... almost an empathic vibe would you say? We often have moments where we just look at each other and finish the other's thought. Or we've had instances of one ringing the other to reassure them about something they 'felt' was wrong without anything having been said. Very odd but very comforting! Yes the 7 degrees certainly feels intense enough even if it's not technically a conjunction! What's your placement the other way round with your guy?

WOW, you guys have awesome synastry! All those conjunctions are amazing! It must be intense. I hear you on the Saturn squares, but these contacts are incredibly karmic and BINDING. Also, relationships are too boring without some friction. Just a few of our aspects: My Pluto trines his Venus (to the minute), my Venus squares his Pluto; his Sun sextiles my Sun/Moon/Asc, His Moon sextiles my Sun/Moon/Asc; His sun conjuncts my sun/moon midpoint, my sun conjuncts his sun/moon midpoint; our moons are opposite; my neptune sextiles his Venus; My Mercury conjuncts his South Node, his Chiron conjuncts my North Node. I've heard Venus/Pluto contacts are key with soulmates, and they're often found in the synastry of those with Eros/Psyche. I can't imagine having both a Venus/Pluto and VEnus/Neptune conjunction! With the DW, you both experience what it is to be both Eros and Psyche, which is so awesome, and you must feel very "completed" by each other. Yes, my guy and I have the conjunction, but we have the quintile the other way. Very minor aspect!! Out of curiosity, what were your transits when you two met? Were you going through any Neptune transits? Was he? I've noticed that couples who have Eros/Psyche connections often meet under a Neptune transit. IP: Logged |

Well yes it's not 'quiet' synastry anyway ha ha! Totally agree with you re the Saturn aspects! It makes life dull with no 'rough' edges  That's a beautiful aspect, the Venus/Pluto trine All the beauty of the conjunction without quite so many of the challenges perhaps? And as we were saying, what's life without a few bits of 'friction'... that Venus sq Pluto makes for some passion and attraction I should think? We've got the sextile the other way and it's like a gentle breeze by comparison to the conjunction! Lovely Sun and Moon sextiles to your Sun/Moon/Asc - I always think of sextiles as the 'fun' aspect... it's light and bubbly but still has affection and its own 'depth' of sorts. I'd forgotten to check midpoints so will have to see about ours but that's a beauty for his Sun on yours!! Must feel very 'meant to be'? And how is that Chiron/NN contact? We have that but in a loser orb I think. It's my Chiron in our case and he does seem to feel I make him better in some respects. Ha ha yep pretty much all over each other like a rash! My Venus is in Scorp so suits me! ;D Yes you're right what you say about feeling 'completed' by each other - it's very much a feeling of coming home and being with the person who fits you perfectly. How does the quintile play out for you? Hey the way I see it an aspect is an aspect and even if it's out of orb or one of the less 'intense' contacts it's still a vital ingredient in the mix of your relationship! The transits were as follows... when we first started talking on line/on phone (not long before we met) Neptune was transiting my 9th house (Pisces) and Juno was transiting my natal Neptune, Vertex and Juno. For him Neptune was transiting his natal Moon and the Moon was transiting his natal Neptune. When we met in the flesh... pretty much the same as it wasn't long after however by then NN was transiting my natal Juno and Vertex and Juno/NN were transiting his natal Vertex plus the Moon was transiting his natal Venus. How about you?

I was going to ask you whether you had Venus/Pluto both ways, as the double whammy is said to be an indicator of soulmates. It makes sense; it makes you obsessed with each other! The sextile is really nice, and just as in my case, it softens the edges of the other, hard Venus/Pluto aspect you guys have. Yes, I love his Sun on my Sun/Moon midpoint, and I love the fact that my Sun is on his Sun/Moon midpoint, too. Yes, check your midpoints! The Chiron/NN is tough, but I've grown so much because of him. My GOODNESS, those transits on the day you guys met were spectacular! Do you have Vertex connections in synastry? What is your composite like? The day I met him, Jupiter was conjunct my Venus; Pluto was on my Mercury exact (7th house ruler) and Neptune exact (by conjunction). Mars was conjunct my Vertex exact. Neptune was conjunct my progressed Venus, as well. Pluto was square his Moon (7th house ruler) and sextile his Venus. Pluto was also conjunct his South Node. Transiting Chiron/Neptune/North Node were conjunct his Anti-Vertex. By progression, Chiron/Neptune/North Node were conjunct his progressed Juno, Neptune opposite his progressed Moon, and Pluto square his progressed Mars. I found it really cool that there was a Chiron/Neptune/NN conjunction that day! Transits on the day you guys met are supposed to be echoed in the synastry, anyway. IP: Logged |

I think all of you are so good. I met a man once a time and his eros conj my psyche. I couldnt talk. Ive not ever got any problem to talk but he got me to stop....I felt something in the air who cants explain but he got me to stop talking. I saw a big wall in front of me. I couldnt put out a word. If I said something it was completely wrong. The feelings got me to get out of the room....Maybe it was love at first sight..Im not sure but he was really special and also my feelings.His lust/fortuna/eros conj my Psyche/DC/angel

I'm trying to understand if I have a conjunction. My eros in scorpio @ 30'18 his psyche in scorpio @33'46. Also is his eros in sag @ 17'25 in opposition to my psyche in gemini @ 18'33. I'm so confused because I can't seem to find a site that would do synastry with those aspects. Tried astro.com but gives info mostly in natals. Can someone please help with that? Thank you so much. What do you think about opposition? When I was reading previous posts- I feel often I can't stand without holding on to sth, short of breath, stumbling. I had the exact conjuntion before, I was eros he was psyche it was in pisces...It was a quick brief encounter.. I didn't get feelings for him at all... There was a sexual attraction, but no intense feelings between us.. But that was our path...
We are opposites, his aqua stellium was opps my leo stellium... He is a cop, instead of me gettin a ticket I got a number.... So hey I cant really complain..lol IP: Logged |

I think you should check venus mars aspects. Moons are important too- how you respond emotionally. I don't think just looking at signs is enough. Aspects like conjunctions, oppositions but also trines and sextiles are more important. When you feel the connection you feel it despite overall match ups. I looked it up on astrowin.org and astro.com
