Hi ami to your question, the answer is
sometimes, I don't feel it as intentional but it's just an energy that comes over one (on my part) and it makes one hold back what they're feeling.

Chiron is so so so so weird. It is the strangest energy lol

The Midheaven represents your most exposed position, your public demeanor, and how you present yourself to the world at large. This position is associated with the career and with that for which you strive to achieve.
With the asteroid spirit conjunct the midheaven the couple will portray a spiritual union to the outside world. Knowingly or unknowingly. Mercury conjunct here would mean being spiritual and conscious of speech towards each other & the public.
