Very deep aspect.One one level, it indicates a heroic Ancient Egyptian Lifeline, or an Ancient [even Renaissance or 19th century] lifeline dedicated to the Mystery of Osiris, possibly through authentic freemasonry teachings. In an Archetype Level, it indicates assured Spiritual Transformation through knowledge of the Divine Masculine Attributes of God. The person's Ego may be cut into pieces through difficult episodes in life. He or she also is destined to find their "Isis" for this incarnation to complete the transformation of an under-evolved Egoistic person into a Selfless Immortal Being. ------------------

Hi IQ, I have natal sun conjunct Isis...Hmmm... so it can be interpretated similarly except that the theme will be more Isis focus? IP: Logged |

Well, he was being cut into 13 slices by his own brother, who hid the 13 pieces of Osiris all across the world. I`d say that qualify as a hardship and reeks of a REALLY dysfunctional sibling-relationship. IP: Logged |

OSIRIS and ISIS are a complimentary pair, Yin and Yang, and thus relate to soulmates. Isn`t it interesting how she brought him back to life and he rules the dead? Osiris is a "flawed hero", great potential there, very powerful, but he does have his flaws, which is what his brother took advantage of; at least according to one version I read it was his thirst for more power that set him off with this journey with Set, who then murdered him. But ultimatively I think Osiris might represent the individual who goes through hardship (he dies and gets cut into pieces), but then gets resurrected and put together, having gained a lot of wisdom in the process.
But really IQ is the expert in Osiris, the divine masculine.
EDIT:
I love ISIS and OSIRIS.
They are both exactly conjunct in my chart and also are tied to Venus and Spirit by a wider conjunction (2 degrees, which is still tight enough) and are challenged by an exact square to Pluto.
