Hmm, hesitant to subscribe to this being a soulmate aspect.
They might have gotten married, but usually the myth of the soulmate pairings highlight the transformative nature of the relationship in order to create or maintain their union.(I mean Hephaistos and Aphrodite were married as well, but I don`t think of them as soulmate-material) That doesn`t really fit Hebe and HEracles, but I am going to check:

Don`t forget the pairings bring a certain "flavour" into a relationship, plus we might react stronger to some pairings than other.I have an Isis-Osiris-Venus-conjunct in my natal, and those Isis-Osiris aspects pop up in the synastries as well. I also - even though not technically a soulmate pairing- have GUINEVERE conjunct my Spirit and GINEVRA conjunct my Sun with ARTHUR on my Sun/Moon-mp and Antivertex and LANCELOT on my MOIRA (fate).
It is interesting how often (in tropical or Draconic) their LANCELOT or ARTHUR is aspecting my GUINEVRA. (usually conjunct or opposition, which if we are really honest are the soulmate aspects; any other aspect, though indicating a meshing and quality of energy, is not really indicative of soulmateship. Maybe the antiscia and contrascia would fall here as well, as they are reflections of conjunctions and oppositions, but that`s it.)
This might not be a pattern for other people though, it is just for me.

Yes, OF COURSE. Siva-Kaali is often felt more strongly bevcause of its extreme strong sexual vibe (tantric), but Siva-Parvati is definitely very soulful.IP: Logged |

No, no future.I also don`t think Tristan/Isolde is indicative of true love. It is romantic, passionate, tragic, yes, starcrossed lovers so to speak. But there is one thing: In the middle of the story, when the king is suspicious, they are being exiled and live together in a cave, within a place that is described as a paradise of nature. Noone disturbs them there, they are living together, and could have continued living there for the rest of their lives.
But when the king approaches, both do everything to convince him of their innocence so they can return to court. In the end, even though having given the chance to live their love on their own, they can`t stay away from courtly life.
The need the society more than they need each other, even though they never stop loving each other. But their love simply is not strong enough to exist out of itself. Their love is an idealized one, which apparently cannot survive within a social reality. It`s sad, really. IP: Logged |

that is my intuition about it too. Passionate but star crossed. Also perhaps even the thrill of the drama?- I would be interested to see if liz taylor and richard burton have this aspect because they seemed obsessed by eachother- but struggled when actually married. Yet they called eachother the love of their lives.
