Hello!

So, what does my chart mean with my fascination with death and dying?

Added 3 asteriods per IQ's recommendation.

Thanks!

In what way are you fascinated with dying/ the dead?

Anyway some aspects got my attention:

- ANUBIS in Cancer in 8th house trine Neptune in Scorpio in 12th house with a Scorpio ASC as well. (and also trine your IC in Pisces - did a relative die at home when you were young? A grandparent maybe?)

- It seems you have Moon as ruler of the intercepted 8th house (with Anubis in it) conjunct the fixed star ALGOL
I am not at all that versed with fixed stars, but I think this one relates to death of some kind.

- what about your family history? was there some "unnatural/ untimely" deaths?

Here is an article on Algol I found:

http://darkstarastrology.com/algol-medusas-head/

Also ANUBIS was the Egyptian God who helped the dead crossing the threshold into the underworld and he was also assisting them into anothe rebirth.
It often seems to be strong in people who can assist dying people or who even can connect spiritually to the realm of the dead.

It depends on what you believe, but I believe in astral travel, and whenver I had one, ANUBIS was extremely active either in my transits or in the composite with the person who apparently triggered that astral link in me (it is not always a real travel though, sometimes operates more like a spiritual link).

In my own chart I have ANUBIS conjunct my Draco Pluto on the degree with the Sabian:
A Woman Reading Tea Leaves

Creepily, as a teenage I foresaw my paternal grandfather`s death in the tarot card (which made me not look into them for the next 20 years. lol).

When my grandfather died as well as my maternal great grandmother I could hear a door close in side my mind and a sound of bells. It was really creepy to later learn that this happened in the EXACT moment each of them had died!

Well, I spoke on the thread re: death in astrology, I love taking care of patients who are dying (am an ICU RN) and their families.

The physical process as much as the spiritual process of dying just fascinates me!

I find it so much more important than birth, really, or see it as the birth to home?

I am into forensics, Dr G medical examiner, etc.

But it is the process that compells me.

Once the energy has left, I find the bodies really disgusting and have problems doing post mortem care.

Thanks Ceri!!!

And no, no relative died at home.

Really I did not experience death personally till my husband killed himself.

That was not interesting to me at all, he did it out of hate for me.

When my beloved granny passed year before last, the funeral was just a "motion" for me, she had left the physical plane long before, had alzheimers...and I did not like the whole funeral thing.

So, again, it is the process of the physical dying and the energy passing that intrigues me...

I am sorry to hear that about your husband and your granny.
And am quite shocked that someone would kill themselves to hurt others. What kind of person does something like that?

But what you wrote about the energy leaving the mortal shell and moving on that screams totally ANUBIS to me, this process of the energy/ spirit-transfer.

Hi Hippichick,

In addition to what Ceridwen mentioned, Jupiter and Mars opposite OSIRIS is enabling you to have a Spiritual Drive to take care of/or think about the Dead.

Ceri and IQ, thanks!!! I am going to have to educate myself more about asteroids!!!

And yes, Ceri, people do kill themselves out of spite, quite unfortunate for them and their loved ones they leave behind. All things in order, I suppose...
