my name asteroid is on top of my natal sun (exact)
I've checked if his name asteroid touched on any specific point on my natal: yes! again
exactly conjunct my natal mercury.

on his natal:
his name asteroid conjunct his natal vertex (exact)
mine conjunct his natal part of fortune (again exact)

finally I checked the progressions for that day (including Solar Arc D.):
on his chart, my progressed (SA) name asteroid conjunct his name asteroid (exact!

I know I have a few stories like that but I'd have to go back to some of my first meeting charts and/or synastries to dig them up.

In the meantime, I can tell you this: My entire immediate family including my mother, father, brother, future sister-in-law, stepmother, stepfather, adoptive mother and grandmother's name asteroids (as well as my last name), all appear conjunct in my 12th house, all in Taurus, except my mother and stepfather who are conjunct in Aries.

Interestingly, my stepfather is an Aries and my mother's NN is in Aries.

Taurus in my chart is an intercepted sign so that makes it more interesting to me as well.

PS. Your story doesn't surprise me, but at the same time I'm always amazed at how name asteroids, which carry a specific energy for each of us, have a way of making themselves known in our charts. Yours sounds pretty cool!

ask (4894) means love in my language. i use it a lot. and he was in Kenya for business when we got connected.
that day chiron, ask and kenya conjuncted!!

Hi, I'm new to this site to register and post but have been reading it for years. I have an interesting synastry aspect I just came across and wondering if it is significant. I did a name asteroid for myself and someone I'm interested in. We have known each other for 7 years. He was my university professor (We're only 3 yrs apart - I was a mature student)and have kept in touch after I graduated. I fell for him from the moment I met him but I kept it under wraps as I was with someone else and we had a teacher-student relationship. Over the years, we have occasionally chatted via IM but last November we met for a coffee after not havong seen each other in years. The mutual chemistry hit us hard. We accelerated our relationship into intimacy within the month but he has pulled away because he didn't want to get too involved as he will be leaving the country for a year to go to school. I'm crazy about him. Anyways, I've done a chart on us and noticed his name planet in my chart is in his sun sign, conjunct my Part of Marriage and conjunct his sun and his mars in House 9 in synastry and my name planet in his chart is in my sun sign and conjunct his Part of Marriage and conjunct my sun sign and my solstice venus in House 1 in synastry. We have a LOT of other connections either by degree, aspect or affinity.

Everyone significant in my life has their name asteroid in a significant position in my life, especially the "soul mate" feeling relationships I've had...

Even my own name asteroid is conjunct my natal Sun.

Thanks for replying appleberry. Those links I mentioned are all synastry with 3 degree orbs and less. Also, We have a lot of connections in synastry but they are mostly trines and minor aspects, however, we have a lot of conjuntions and oppositions with midpoints and solstice points and all on the angles - asc, desc, mc, ic, vertex and nodes. Our planets within themselves are ok in synastry but all the action is on the angles.
