But sometimes it is simply indicative of delving into one`s own depth/soul and "grow up".
It`s not simply a rape and abuse story (though it depends on which analyst you are reading. lol).

The interesting thing is that Proserpina stayed out of her own accord in the underworld (at least half a year), but didn`t dare tell her mother (probably she wanted to avoid the conflict).

the first time I slept with him, after a while I was like gotta go, have work the next day. He kept tackling me back to the couch. LOL Until I was like okay, I'll stay and just stop home and get ready tomorrow. And I kept saying I can't believe I'm doing this. He even did that when I was trying to head out the door for work. But yeah I went to work. So I ended sleeping at his house for weeks until he went back on duty.

I have also learned a lot from him.(that do kind of corrupt your innocence. mainly about health and government)

The tightest conjunction is my Persephone (natally conjunct Juno) to my husband's Pluto. In a nutshell, I moved out to LA, and he got me into porn.

No, really. I know it sounds cliche, but that's the truth! We're both from Dallas, and he'd lived out here before. When we started dating after he'd moved, I took a working vacation which became permanent when I landed a job. But the show closed, and work was scarce and ... we became pornographers. Made enough money to keep from starving, had a hell of a time, met some amazing people, and ... let's just say, there's still that AVN award I want in the back of my brain for Best Direction in a Short. (Not surprising, considering his Neptune sextiles my Persephone exactly.)

What's curious is how it all turned out. (Proserpina-Pallas in the 8H, exact, loosely opposite Sun-Pluto, natally.) I turned it into an equally lucrative therapy practise, taking my psychology degree and focussing on helping these women who had clearly been horribly abused at one point in their lives, (I'm sorry to be the cliche - but they're in porn! Hello!) and help them heal along with telling their story on my national Podcast.

In the end, it helped everybody. (I'm a natal Psyche-Sun trine, too, with a sextile to Neptune; it's in the 10H, but not on the MC. It IS conjunct my husband's Sun-Saturn closely.) I went on to help the men who were often the clientele watching this genre or brand of pornography, digging into their pasts and psyches, figuring out why they are how they are.

In the end, (after 3 years) I'd have to say I'm satisfied. I've made several media appearances, have had the fortune of experiencing the results of some of my longer-term clients' healing and personal transformation, and, all in all, probably helped some 200 people in one way or another.

Which isn't bad for 3 years of work, when you were simply starting out directing porn. (And even then, the features in which I appeared I never removed a stitch of clothing. I was big about that. Dunno where that is in my chart. Oh, I took flak for it - but they could f*ck off, you know? I have my principles, and they're unwavering.)

Ha! Thanks, Belage. There are times I'm a little leery that 'I' can be too much to take. But it's my goal to always be authentic, which means my anecdotes and experiences can get ... a bit out there ... if I'm being totally honest.

I think Persephone/Proserpina-Pluto in synastry can mean transformational growth due to love. I really like it after reading about the story.

And in a way you're confusing me because you were a pornographer and participating in these women abusing themselves and being sexually degraded by men in exchange for money, but then later you say you talked to them and helped them out. I'm not even trying to scold you but it's weird to me like "I'm going to be one more in a long line of people preying on these women for my own benefit, then say a few nice words and think I'm improving their lives."

I'm just trying to understand it. I think you participated as much in preying upon them as the people who abused them did. You were all out for something to benefit you at the expense of those women (and the men whose money you guys took in exchange for viewing your products).

But astrologically yeah this is a perfect example of the myth because like you said, Pluto to Persephone - you got dragged right into the underworld and then jumped right in, participating in Pluto's work.

Back to the topic in a more general sense - Persephone squares my Sun by one degree. Prosperpina squares my Jupiter-Saturn conjunct by 0-1 degrees, other than that it does nothing.

I do have Orcus tightly conjunct my North Node, though.

Trying to figure out my own Proserpina which is conjunct my PlutoRx/AC (wide for asteroids but Pluto is strong for me), and exact opposite an conjunction of Vertex/Kaali/Sado (all within 10 sec of each other).

Persephone/Mars is opposite NeptuneRx.

I've had many problems with violent people and who've been criminals at one point in life. I gather that this is one thing attracting them.

I guess it's the Proserpina/Anti-vertex opposite Kaali/Vertex that is the most drawing for me at the moment. They are all at 9*. And I think it's the conjunctions that I'm trying to isolate more than the opposition.

OK, what you need to know is that the Anti vertex is what YOU bring to people and the vertex is what people bring to you.

So you would bring the proserpina theme to others and others would bring the kaali energy to you.

You may have the life theme of pain at the rite of passage. You may bring this into the world, as kind of your theme

Kaali is the vital energy of the person. People will bring their vital energy to you. So, I would say that people will bring all of themselves to you in a very deep and primal way.
