About Amor, I have an Amor/Psyche conjunction in my natal which is also conjunct my Asc. Mr. Pisces Moon (who I believe is my TF-still have to analyze our charts fully for the final verdict on that) has his Amor exactly conjunct my Amor/Psyche/Asc. conjunction.

Amor/Psyche is one of the soul mate pairings. It brings about the selfless, more spiritual aspects of love which are so essential in loving someone unconditionally, i.e., through thick and thin.

Let me look for what I was told about my synastry re: Amor/Psyche

Here, this is what Ceri said-

"But you already have the conjunction to ASC which makes Amor-Psyche a central theme."

"...in astrology, Amor-Psyche is a very soulbased, deeply emotional kind of love, which lacks the urgent intensity of Eros` magnetism though.

In your case, with his Amor conjunct your Amor and Moon I would imagine there would be a deep soulfulness between you springing from selflessness. And this dedication (your selflessness toward him) would help pave the way for his destiny to actualize (conjunction to his NN).

But I definitely feel the Amor selflessness has been present from the beginning. In fact, if anything, the devotion and selflessness has grown even though we've been through a lot together-stuff that has transformed us at a very deep level.

To give you an example-once he got mad at me and began to rail (rare for him because of his Pisces Moon). This might sound totally weird but, in the middle of his rant I had a thought (a very loud thought) go through my mind-I thought, "My God, I love this man so much." It surprised even me because I'm generally so particular about emotional health and not enabling mine or anyone's mental/emotional handicaps.

So right then and there, when he paused for breath, I told him about my thought. Needless to say, that dissolved the anger, so we could go on to rationally discuss the real issue.

But what remained in my mind was the experience of having this thought. That if I could feel such strong love for him in the middle of his anger toward me ... well then, that must be love at its purest and its best, right?

For me, it's almost a physical pain if I've disappointed, hurt, upset, or otherwise made him feel -any- kind of pain. I can then become VERY upset and angry myself. And, woe betide anyone who might've contributed to my causing this state of distress. No matter how great they are, they're temporarily NOT my favourite people, and the world just SUCKS.

We have an interesting interplay, but the basics are:

Our Amors trine. My Amor is right on his Ascendant and trines his NNode. His is exactly opposite my Moon (and his Karma), and loosely conjunct my Chiron. My Amor's (obviously) in his 1H, and his is in my 9H.

and his does not aspect mine

but we have many other aspects that make us passionate for each other...but I will say I knew I liked him just from talking to him, and knew he is a catch. And so did he.

Regarding the whole Amor-Psyche thing, I noticed something interesting. While it -seemed- like a sort of aspect we'd have, given the vibration between us, I was surprised to find it, in fact, just not there.

What I DID find, however, was this: the Amor/Psyche midpoint. I was really surprised to find that we both have the Amor/Psyche midpoint, despite, however, the placements being Taurus/Aquarius and Capricorn/Gemini.

Mine's 07 Libra, and his is 10. Pretty spiffy. Further, even though I haven't actually evaluated it as closely, I do know that mine is on his Juno. His is close enough to be conjunct mine, too, but it's a bit wide for my comfort.

Another interesting affinity: my Amor's dwad is Libra, his Psyche's decanate is in Libra; his Amor's decanate is in Capricorn, and dwad in Aquarius; my Psyche's decanate AND dwad are both Aquarius.

Not sure if the 'Psyche/Amor' MP actually counts, but I'm going to suggest it might.

Hmm ... wonder what Ceri might have to say about this.

I remember her saying somewhere (possibly on the HG thread) that only tight conjunctions to asteroid mps should be considered. Hope I'm right about this.

Anyway it'll be good if she sees this thread.

Eros/Psyche is actually a soul mate/TF aspect provided the orb is no more than 2 degrees for a trine.

Thanks I'm learning from some of the very best here - Ceri, Taineberry, and a lot of things from iQ too, even though he's so busy.

As far as aspects go if you have Amor/Psyche as well as Eros/Psyche or Amor/Psyche with one of the other aspects I mentioned, it is ideal, I would think.
