I would think that they would be both great in their own different ways.

Some articles I've read online show that Juno conjunct Sun or ASC are huge marriage indicators.

As a matter of fact my mom's Juno is in Libra and my dad is a Libra Sun. Been married since the 80's.

My dad also has his Juno in Gemini and my mom is a Gemini ASC

can't find that article online now...but I just stumbled upon this one! It's a study of different couples and they show the starts of what synastry aspects seem to work. http://www.astroinvestigators.com/marrsyn.htm

I also have an amazing bond with this guy...my Juno conjuncts his Mercury. But then I think his Juno opposes my Sun. :/

Juno is useful, in my experience, but not the be-all, end-all for everyone. For some people, it's the uber-link. But then, so is Saturn. Or mutual Venus-Moon aspects. Or Psyche. It just depends.

For me, I look at natal aspects, personally. Since you're asking about 'soul-mates', here's what I've learnt.

My husband (companion soul) and I have a weak Juno-Neptune conjunction, (7* orb) which seems 'eh', until you realise it's my 7HR. Conversely, my Juno's out of orb of really conjuncting his 7HR - Uranus - though it's in the same sign, Libra, and his Uranus is EXACTLY on my Sun.

With my twinflame, it's a little different. He and I both have Juno in Libra, though his is weakly conjunct Vindemiatrix, and we each natally have it septile our Moons, which, conversely in the synastry, septile each other's Moons (being loosely conjunct).

So, there's an echo. Rather than saying that it IS a significant relationship, how Juno is placed natally, and in synastry, helps to define that relationship; it's nature, purpose and commitments. For each other, it's a deep, psychic bond that cuts through the ego and goes straight to the emotions, and the spirit.

Juno's in my 1H closely conjunct my Saturn. Karmic relationships are indeed a theme of my life. His is in the 8H. It's been a very rocky road for him, and he cannot deal in romantic or sexual commitments. Not until he overcomes certain obstacles. And, since they're conjunct, his Juno's in my 1H, and mine's in his 8H. We highlight for each other our own personal demons when it comes to relating, and those commitments involved. While there's the incredible draw to do so, and be, and the unwillingness to let go, the fear is pronounced, and we resort to operating almost entirely on a soul level. It becomes a tacit understanding. Soul-to-soul, bypassing mind and material, and expressing itself through our creativity.

If you're having significant mutual Juno aspects in the synastry, it's already important. Look closer to see how it defines the relationship.

Stawr,

Totally depends on natal aspects. IF Junos are strongly and favourably placed, (especially involving the 7H), then Sun/Juno can be a wonderful link, and all you really need to push towards completion. Otherwise, all the other usual factors, dependent upon so much more, need to be reviewed.

I have Juno conjunct ASC DW with my boyfriend. I'd say it's significant but still I feel too soon in my relationship to be making guesses for our future. I don't like doing that, anyway (natal Uranus-Moon square/Sun-moon square). :P

My Juno natally is in my 11th house, in Capricorn, conjunct my Neptune.

His Juno is in his second house, in Aquarius, and it sextiles his Neptune, trines his Pluto, and squares his Uranus-Venus conjunction in Scorpio.

My Juno being in Capricorn, I tend to look for partners who are older and secure. It being in my 11th house, friendship within relationships is very important. With him, this is true because he is more financially stable than me, and eight years older. His Juno in Aquarius shows that he likes a different partner who is intellectual, and perhaps has unique views on relationships altogether. I am a different race than him and come from a different social class. We started talking because of our similar worldviews/ideologies. He also liked that I am a bookworm, even though he doesn't read much himself.

Overall, I think Juno hitting a personal planet, particularly with hard aspects, is very significant. Not necessarily a sure-fire manage indicator (we still have free will), but significant Juno aspects will show an important committed relationship in your life, IMO.

Juno conjunct Sun or Juno conjunct Moon are similar, but in Juno conjunct moon your partner is probably more attracted or feels comfortable with the way you express your emotions or share your emotional nature with him/her. It's meaningful, but check in what house/if you're Juno is doing anything to his /her planets, etc.

So what does it mean when my Juno conjuncts his sun by 3 degrees and his Juno trines my moon by 2 degrees?
