I only say this because you solicit trust by the claim you have scholarship credentials and represent yourself as a sensitive, caring trained "professional." Your heart IS MOST generous, and I believe it's true that you DO want to "help" people very much. HOWEVER, I want it to be known here that I strenuously disagree with your 'religious' views on gay society. What a sad and shocking discovery to find-- and another lesson about "people" (and my own astrology) for me. My thoughts are for gentle peace, restoration, and healing for you!

Randall,After checking on two different browsers, I do not see the 2 June 28 posts having re-appeared. At the moment Mirage has re-posted her message on June 29 at 12:59 am in which she has also thanked you. Other than that I see 4 posts from you--2 with the words TEST and 2 with other comments. Also, in my personal experience, since I have been a member, I have never seen posts reappear, after they've disappeared, either on my threads or on other threads that I've been following. Not sure why you say the thread is freaking out. 2 posts "disappeared" last night. That's it. Nothing more has happened since then. IP: Logged |

Oh, I see now that Mirage edited hers and added the poofed post. She added it to her June 25th post. That confused me. And yes, posts have disappeared and reappeared quite a bit before, although it was a while back when spiking was much more common. It was frequent on LEXX's strings, but it happened to a few others. I try to reboot early now and prevent most of these weird fluxes.------------------

Another thing that has happened when a string goes haywire is that multiple posts by one person merge into one long post. That has happened to Jwhop, and I think two other people. And closed strings open back up with the disappeared posts having reappeared. And if I lock it again, it reverts back to the missing posts...until it opens again on its own. Or the string will be closed, but if you look on the daily list of Active Topics, it is still clickable there as open. And with LEXX one time, the entire string disappeared, but it was still on the Active Topic list, and if you clicked on it there, it went to an entirely different string altogether! Crazy! But my bad--on this one I saw Mirage's post and thought it came back, but it was just an edit and add on her June 25th post. So, I guess this string isn't acting up. ------------------

You are free to disagree. I am a Born Again Bible believer, as most people know, on LL. Those are my beliefs, as yours are yours. Each person is allowed his own beliefs on LL, as I am sure you have ascertained. ------------------
