I got this from a paid report on cafe-astrology.
Any one have this before? Or think its correct in-correct?

Composite Sappho Conjunct Neptune
This is a very soulful, romantic emphatic relationship. You have high ideas about love and relating and will probably like to express them, either through poetry or other romantic expression.
You feel very connected as if twin souls, but you honor and acknowledge each others boundaries so that you both feel appreciated.
You also share similar tastes and styles in the arts and that is an extremely important part of the relationship. You bring romance and aesthetics to your sexual expression together, which makes it extremely interesting.

Also ceres conjuncts sappho/neptune

Hi Lioness,

I read in an old thread (sorry can't remember which one) that iQ said he doesn't consider Sappho in synastry. It appears as a relationship asteroid in all the lists floating around on LL, but I'm pretty sure Ceri (or anyone else that I know), does not consider Sappho as a soulmate asteroid.

But I'm open to correction of course.

Ceres on the other hand provides comfort and nurturing so its good to have her in good aspects in synastry.

Here are the descriptions I found on lists by Iamloved and TigerLily--

"SAPPHO: Goddess of poetry and lyrics. Can be an indicator of same sex attraction or affinity, especially in a woman’s chart."

"SAPPHO: Strong sexual libido, accompanied by poetry, music or dirty talk. Movement or transportation could be a turn on, with the back seats of cars not just for teenagers. Sexual expression of fantasies and ideals are important for each partner, as is a need for variety, with possible experimentation with same sex genders; this placing however does not suggest identity confusion, just versatility. Sexual attraction, deep appreciation of self andothers, poetic, artistic, refined and cultured. Very passionate."

"CERES: Ceres: Mother, nurturing, feeding emotional and physical needs. Taking care of each other. Enhances the ability to nurture the self and others - also for those suffering from the loss of a loved one. Children who have lost a parent or other primary care giver. Very sensual and passionate in lovemaking, with a strong desire to satisfy both desire for one's self and the other. The heat is high and many aids may be important (i.e. food, oils and luxurious settings). Attachment to one partner is common, for security and safety, yet extras could be optional. This asteroid can bring jealousy, co-dependency and often controlling behaviour (if one is insecure)."

Hope this helps

Thanks Linda.. Those details really do fit..

Only I didnt mean my post as it is a twin soul aspect...
I was asking if it gives the twin soul "feeling"
Maybe neptune adds in the feeling??

Im just trying to understand everything that I feel... Its very confusing...

Love your insight..

I would definitely use Sappho in the chart of a woman who is a lesbian.

nice report. Sappho seems to be like a fusion of Neptune and Mars.

Lesbians and creatives.

I've seen SAPPHO strong in both. I don't have SAPPHO conjunct anything - but NYMPHE. I thought that was curious. 11H. Trine my 3H MOON/URANUS.

I am a TV writer in Hollywood, however. I've been a writer and creative pretty much my whole life. Novels, poetry, songs, plays, etc. I haven't, however, been a lesbian. No sapphic tendencies of which to speak. I have an aunt who's been a lesbian for all of my life, and many bisexual friends (11H)?

I think SAPPHO indicates romantic, sexual attraction involved in creative production. I really do. I've seen it extensively throughout synastries and composites of creative partners who are also romantically involved.

So, who knows?

We also have composite SAPPHO opposite EROS conjunct MOON and contraparallel. PSYCHE and SAPPHO are also parallel.

SAPPHO is trine NEPTUNE, too.

His SAPPHO is also conjunct my NNODE, 12H.

Oh, and SAPPHO is conjunct and parallel our MC; PSYCHE and MADHATTER is conjunct and parallel, too.

This amuses me, because everyone has apparently suspected our involvement since the beginning - despite our statements adamant to the contrary.

Whoops. Not as if we aren't careful. But, evidently, something like SAPPHO there on your MC seems evident to everyone. URANUS-DESTINN-SPICA is rising exactly on our c-ASC.

Still not sure how to interpret that, except that our IC is in AQU, with the MOON-EROS there.

Sappho is not exclusively relevant for Lesbians though. I know that this is often said for obvious reasons.

However I have observed strong Sappho aspects in very passionate intense attractions that somehow are being channelled creatively.

Having said that my three most appreciated (male) performers/ artists have all their Sappho conjunct my Moon. Don`t ask me what that means. lol

Yes, that is what I notice, too. There is this inseparable connection between romance/ passion and creativity.

Oh btw, not sure why I feel tomention it now, but when I wasin London, I got a guest visitor-admittance to the V&A (with a friend) and we were watching "Doktor FAustus" finally.

Who do you think feel it more in synastry, the Sappho person or the Neptune person?

Sappho cjt Neptune feels like a higher spiritual form of Neptune love.

My Neptune is conjunct my Sappho....I've never given any attention to Sappho because it's never hit me as an asteroid with a lot importance.
But maybe I'm wrong?
I've always felt love very strong and written poetry about it since I was a teenager, some of which has been published! I'm wondering if Sappho is more about the verbal expression of love and less about the physical expression?

I think they feel it differently, but in my experience, in synastry, the Sappho person might be more passionate. But Neptune might also care very deeply, just in his on spiritual allencompassing way.

Oh Sappho very much likes the physical expression, too!
But you are also right, in a way finding a creative outlet, expressing the love verbally, seems to even enhance the feeling.

This has always been the case for me, too, though I do not have Sappho aspecting Neptune.

However Sappho is on 21 Libra in my 10th house, right on my DNA on 20 Libra, and exactly square Eros and Vertex on 21 Cancer, also square Sun/Moon-mp on 21 Capricorn and opposite Chiron on 20 Aries.

maybe that is why I feel it so significantly. Falling in love, even if it is just a flush of a crush, usually makes me either creative myself or open up to be even more receptive to creativity. And honestly, the way someone speaks or sings, as well as the words used (even if just written), if used the right way, it feels so sensual to me, almost like an aphrodisiac. lol

I've felt like that to when I fall in love, it's very romantic and creative....I've always wanted to build a business with someone I loved because of the creativity they being out in me! It's also somewhat of a "rose colored glasses" feelings, when I allow myself to go there! And Sappho isn't even tight to my Neptune, Neptune saggy@11 and Sappho@15.
Other aspects that are closer-
Sappho saggy@15, DNA saggy@17--3rd
Jupiter aries@15--7th
Fortuna leo@16--11th
Psyche gemini@15--9th
Circe aqua@15--5th

I like where my Sappho falls, it looks like poetry is in my blood and my soul! Also brings blessings!

Just realized I have this exact in synastry; I'm Sappho; he's Neptune. (His Sappho and Karma also conjunct my Sun).

The description rings true with me, except I don't consider either of us to be particularly creative, at least not in a specifically artistic way.

I can also confirm both of us feel about each others voices the way Ceri describes.
