i was wondering how the whole asteroid astrology began.. since matter is energy it influences us. the asteroid or planet is already there when it is discovered, that means the energy alreagy affects us. they say the energy of a planet manifests itself when it is discovered.. the recent discoverys of uranus neptune and pluto are manifesting a shift of consciousness to a higher plane.. or chiron, 1970~ that has to do with this transition too.. when a astro body is discovered it is named by the one who discovered it.. there are thousands of asteroids, each one affecting us diferently because of size, mass, orbit , distance etc... and each one has a name.. asteroids exist in astronomy but in astrology it is relatively new isnt it? how do we learn about the energy of a new discovered asteroid.. like an asteroid is discovered, the guy names it KARMA 3811, now what? the energy was already there, but because of the name given to it the energy is associated with karmic events, relations or debts? how does it all work? another exemple, you know some one that you have a deeper connection, and feels that you know each other from other lifetimes.. how can it be that your asteroid psyche is in conjunction with his asteroid eros , that forms a mythological couple. these asteroids where discovered by diferent people in diferent times.. is the name given intuitively? or is the energy only activated at the discovery and the energies start working togheter since then? i dont know if you understand my doubt.. i mean in asteroid astrology the energy of an asteroid is so often associated with the name given to it.. and we start interpreting these asteroids in astrology with the meaning of the name given to it.. but it all seems so perfect! asteroid astrology is so facinating! can some one give me some light on this doubt about the origins of asteroid astrology.. or how this whole energy thing works? with the planets its the same.. hope you understand what i mean.. My take is that size, mass, orbit, and distance really don't matter in Astrology. It's not science except for the math with the placements. Astrology is more art and symbolism. So, there isn't a gravitational or magnetic field influence. As below, so above. It's more of a mirroring. So the meaning in a chart only applies once discovered. At least that's my opinion. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I think there's some aspects of multidimensional physics mankind hasn't discovered yet. Who can say for certain what all the asteroids look like on the 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. dimensions? or how they would react to other energies like Jupiter in those dimensions? Probably would look trippy if we had devices that could show our third-dimensional eyes what it looks like in the other dimensions.A much smaller scale of gravitational lensing perhaps? Or a form of lensing on a different level? While small, objects do have their own gravity, even if it seems negligible to our normal observations. From a purely physics standpoint, it's probably something like that. From a metaphysical standpoint, haven't given it a lot of thought to be honest. IP: Logged |

Asteroid influences are 4th Dimensional, from the resonance of their Names to the collective experiences in our memory [and genetic memory] related to that Name. Thus, if someone feels a "chill" in their Spine on hearing a word like Anubis or Isis or Kaali for the first time, it is useful to look at these Asteroids in the Natal Chart, and there will be clear aspects that prove why there was such a Cellular/Soul Level name recognition. ------------------ Astrology Articles New Services and short readings IP: Logged |

Some of the asteroids were originally planets. Some are now being upgraded to minor planets...the classification is pretty much in flux. On the one hand it doesn't seem like size matters: Jupiter is not more important than Mercury in astrology. Yet the minor planets seem to pull more weight (pun intended) with astrologers who are reluctant to open Pandora's box and delve into the whole branch of asteroid astrology. So, once an asteroid is deemed a planet, its size doesn't matter. Til then, size matters. IP: Logged |

All of the asteroids provide clues to our individual creation. When you read them, they tell you how you were made. Interpretations come from influences beyond our knowing. We experience and learn how they work through our studies, as in any scientific endeavor. IP: Logged |
