Well, love has many shades of meaning. The asteroids reflect this.

Eros is erotic love.
Psyche is soul connection
Juno is the loyal and devoted love of a wife
Valentine is sacrificial love such as when someone would throw themselves in front of a bullet for the beloved etc

Y thank u ami I agree there many shades of love. I didn't think they all represented the same types of love.

So valentine isn't really a sexual love? That would b eros.

And juno is devotional love?

And what about amor? It almost feels cheesy to me lol I don't really know what to think of it. Like when I think of all the words that have 'amor' in it. Amorous. It makes me think of an infatuation not real love. Or blind love. What is ur take on that asteroid?

Eros is the love feelings; butterflies in your stomach, not being able to look at the person you like in the eyes etc.

It is also an "inspired" feeling that you get to do something or pursue something.

It is often a feel good kind of feeling that is associated with being aroused(hence Eros), but arousal itself is not action but a feeling that inspires an outcome.

Eros is a joyous feelings and thus, if it aspects the personal planets , there will be an attempt by the individual to extend the feeling to more than just a fleeting one.

Eros-Venus will, for instance, love to be lightly touched and caressed affectionately. The love nature is geared towards sensuality and "making love" rather than the very raw nature of sex. Candlelight and role-playing with scented candles and bubble baths turn these people on. Take your time with these people and be gentle, you'll find that they become receptive and giddy to your whims and intentions

Eros-Pluto will be more raw in their expression. They may get off with being aggressive in bed or have kinky fantasies that they want to fulfill. The approach to sex is very much "rip your clothes off" and get it on. The women and men may be drawn to someone with an animalistic nature(especially if Venus conjunct Pluto too)

Juno is about protecting the home and nurturing your children until they can provide for themselves.

Juno is actually the archetype mother, and not the moon, and she is also the wife who, dissatisfied with the wasted affections on her philandering husband, pours her heart out to her children.

Juno-Moon aspects in a woman make her want to become a mother and create a home for her children. She will love the idea of being a wife and may altogether abandon the personality she was before she got married.

In a man's chart it may show a man who has a very strong respect and closeness to Mom. There is an attraction to traditional women or old-fashioned types who want the whole home, dog , children thing. He may be especially drawn to a woman who just wants to be a housewife and a loving mother to their children with little career ambitions of her own.

Juno-Mars makes the individual a champion for traditional home values and the institution of marriage. They fight to protect and preserve the long-standing traditions of the domestic scene and can be very defensive towards any progression that "challenges" them.

Amor would be kind of pure love, not sexual, per se, but the heart/mind/soul connection of pure love imo
