Here's a topic I'm sure many of us have had to think about at one time or another: relocation. In this case, I'm looking for asteroids that may influence relocations in one's chart by transit or progression.

The only one that comes to mind that I suspect could have meaning is 1143 Odysseus... But even then, I'm not certain that means what I think it means.

Anyone know offhand what other asteroids would be useful for long or short journeys, both temporary and permanent? I don't seem to have much knowledge in terms of this particular area with asteroids and wanted to get your thoughts/insights.

what about asteroid Vibilia 144 ?

The name Vibilia may be derived from the Proto-Indo-European root w(e)ib, meaning "to move quickly to and fro".
This asteroid may give an affinity for travel and exploration You may embark upon numerous voyages or expeditions. He or she may also act as a guide and guardian for other travelers. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/000044-2.html

Thanks iQ! Other than the summer cold, so far so good! At least the earth didn't shake this time lol (although I think the local nuclear power plant did have a steam release and loud noises yesterday morning... TMI if you're wondering)

Anchi, interesting asteroid Vibilia. Just looked it up, and mine's at 23 Lib 54'30", conjunct fixed star Spica (and is finishing up being transited by Saturn).

Vibilia seems to be conjunct 1170 Siva @ 23 Lib 29'43" and 4255 Spacewatch @ 23 Lib 40'20". Also sextiles 11911 Angel @ 23 Leo 48'30" and 4325 Guest @ 24 Sag 24'15".

It does square 1125 China @ 24 Cap 0'21" (Rx), 1930 Lucifer @ 22 Cap 22'14" (Rx), 82332 Las Vegas @ 23 Can 19'23", 9133 d'Arrest @ 23 Can 23'48" and Black Moon Lilith @ 24 Can 24'56". Opposes Arabic Part of Bad Luck @ 23 Ari 4' and 34901 Mauna Loa @ 24 Ari 5'15".

Guess I should steer clear of travelling to gambling resorts near volcanoes in China?

(Side note, it also does Quincunx 2369 Chekov @ 23 Tau 40'10" and 10806 Mexico @ 23 Pis 51'5" (Rx))

Great but complicated topic.
