For our first exercise, I've examined the approximate first report of the Reichstag Fire, in Berlin.

On February 27th, 1933, at 21:25 Berlin time, the first report of the Reichstag fire reached a Berlin fire station. The chart of first report:

With the benefit of hindsight and the knowledge of asteroids, we can see additional details. The aspects that immediately jump out at me:

Destinn square Kaali - Very potent, and definitely a portent of things to come.

Moon/Descendant/Uranus/Nessus conjunct - Emotions and the inciting of the people certainly came. There was also a revolutionary feel to this most certainly, especially with the at-the-time upcoming German elections in which the NSDAP (Nazi Party) was still competing against the Communists (who hadn't been banned yet). Nessus with this? Was there abuse of power? Oh yes.

Pluto square Uranus and the rest of that stellium - Absolutely there was collapsing structure. The building itself did not collapse, but it was gutted (and not fully restored until just this century). German civil liberties would be equally gutted shortly after.

Apophis square Dejanira - Certainly victimization occurred, both to the German government with the destruction of one of its buildings (regardless of who may have really started it), and the destructive victimization of opposition groups soon to come.

Sun conjunct North Node - Things were destined to come.

Neptune conjunct South Node - Anyone who thought things wouldn't change all that much after this incident were sorely mistaken.

Sun Opposite Neptune, and respective Nodes - Everything was about to change, and the propaganda that would stem from this would be astronomical.

Neptune conjunct Mars with the Sun opposition - Disinformation and misinformation would be used in an aggressive nature. The Communists were banned soon after, and the Enabling Act that followed, from what I've read, wasn't even all that legal from my understanding of German law at the time. (Hitler apparently made a few shortcuts).

Chiron conjunct Algol - Healing would come... after extreme wounding. The wounding started almost immediately. Germany was already wounded from the Treaty of Versailles and the loss of WWI, and some may have thought the actions that resulted after the Reichstag Fire would accelerate healing. False healing in a matter of speaking (though prosperity for some did return for a very short time... if in the right population. For those deemed the wrong population, terrible times were ahead). The fact that this combination was in 8th house is very interesting. Also, the only man convicted of setting the fire, Marinus van der Lubbe, was executed by Guillotine, thus manifesting Algol literally (Losing one's head).

Vesta conjunct Alcyone - Alcyone is said to be associated with "bereavement, mourning, sorrows and tragedies". Vesta has been referred to as "The sacred flame". Nothing sacred about this fire that happened.

Ceres square BM Lilith - Not sure offhand... Ami? iQ?

Pholus sextile Sun/North Node - Turning point for Germany, catalyst for a future that ultimately wasn't very bright.

I haven't checked other asteroids, but thought this would be a good starting point.

I also haven't checked current transits yet. But history is repeating, hence opening up the study of this terrible era.

Hitler didn't make just one attempt at power. According to the link above, "On November 8, 1923, Nazi troops under the direction of Hermann Göring surrounded the place. At 8:30 p.m., Hitler and his storm troopers burst into the beer hall causing instant panic. "

I've charted for 8:30PM as a result. Long story short, Hitler fired a shot into the air to get people's attention, and tried to get three officials of the Bavarian government to join him. After darting back out to the main room to tell the people that they agreed to join him (they were lying, and this even after he declared having four bullets, one for each of them and one for himself... how prophetic.), that's when things started to get out of hand. Needless to say, we know that the Putsch failed, and that Hitler was imprisoned, with some of his supporters killed. (The swastika flag they had, which became splattered with the blood of a few of those doomed souls, would become the infamous Blood Flag, which disappeared shortly before the end of World War II.)

The placements and my analysis:

- Apophis conjunct Tyrannosaurus: T-Rex gives us an image of something consuming, predatory, vicious. Apophis? Destruction. This was the start of something big.

- Grand Trine: Pluto/Sirius trine Uranus trine Mercury, Kited by Skepticus opposing Uranus: Revolutionary change was in the air, but the big impact of it wasn't ready yet. But the thought of such change was in the air. Messages and communication of such, such as Hitler's proclamations at the Beer Hall was a certain example of this. But the people were skeptical, and especially the officials. Possible double-kite if we take into account Black Moon Lilith... something was definitely guiding things in the air, of that I am certain. But the message wasn't ready yet. But the seeds were sown.

Yod-Kite: Skepticus Sextile mercury, both Quincunx Nessus/Hekate, kited by Mars/Kaali/fixed star Algorab: Again, we see a bit of skepticism in the message, conflicting with the abusive vibe of Hitler and the Nazis' ambitions. Hekate seems to indicate that, as the goddess Hekate was the goddess of crossroads among other things, Germany was certaintly at a crossroads with the at-the-time recent hyperinflation. Mars and Kaali working together, bolstered by Algorab's influence, was adding a bit of fire and excitability to this equation. Many people would die in the Putsch. Algorab indicates " destructiveness, malevolence, fiendishness, repulsiveness and lying, and is connected with scavenging." And also "A variation on the truth when an excuse looks to be safer." ( http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Stars_alphabet.htm - Algorab ) ... Most certainly fitting of the situation at hand. It should also be noted that Hitler escaped after suffering a dislocated shoulder once the police fired on them the next morning during the march towards the War Department, as a culmination of the night's events. Hitler escaped in a waiting car, leaving his fellow revolutionaries behind. For someone talking of unity, that sure was an abuse of trust, one would think.

- Leviathan conjunct Saturn: Leviathan brings to mind a larger than life threat, perhaps our inner demons. Saturn, the taskmaster, the restrictor. Again, the time wasn't ready, but Hitler's inner demons (as well as those of the other Nazis) were not conquered yet.

- Lie conjunct Toutatis: Toutatis: "authority, pride, patriarchalism, bad things happening serving as equalizers, nationalism, institutions, organizations , also artistic creativity (Heather Cameron) and building monuments, self-aggrandization, falling objects and being struck by them.. " Hitler was telling some pretty big lies to get the rest of the people in the Beer Hall to go along with his attempt on power (saying that the transition of power was already under way when in reality, only a barracks had been successfully taken over, and even that was shaky).

- Yod-Kite: Neptune sextile Destinn, both quincunx the Midheaven of Hitler's charge into the Beer Hall, by definition the bowstring of the Yod being pulled by the Imum Coeli, with IC also with Ixion: Destiny wasn't ripe yet for the Nazis to take charge, but their dreams of power would come to fruition later. It certainly served to bolster public awareness of the Nazi cause, and caused great consternation at home. Again, with Hitler escaping briefly and leaving his comrades behind, one could argue a sense of ungratefulness for those who sacrificed. One could also argue, why risk oneself when the battle is lost... Your mileage may vary. Also, you could say he expected an easier victory, but got nothing at the time... sorta like Ixion seducing a cloud shaped like Zeus's wife Hera (which in that legend, irked Zeus to no end).

- Apophis/Tyrannosaurus square Lucifer: The vicious destructiveness to come certainly came with a rebellious spirit. But the time wasn't right yet. I suspect had things played out a bit differently, it's possible the Nazis could have been destroyed in their rebellious attempt here. They were nearly broken up after this (at least, their breakup was ordered). In fact, it appears Hitler was talked out of committing suicide after this failed attempt at taking control.
