I don't understand Nessus and dejanira but i know there is an abuse theme and most likely related to unhealthy relationships
I know these asteroids have a lot of meaning...and they are in some cases indicators of men who will take advantage of a womans vulnerability. If you find yourself continually getting into relationships where you are victimized this could be how you are playing out and trying to correct a childhood event where you where innocent and taken advantage of. The subconscious wants to get back what was taken away and will seek out ppl or events that give the opportunity to relive it, unfortunately we are unaware of this consciously and wonder why we are always drawn to ppl who arent good for us.
That being said, Nessus isnt always bad...as with all asteroids after youve worked through the negative side, you still have the asteroid and you start finding how its positive traits are shown.
So, if these relationships hurt, you probably trying to resolve a painful event as a child...if these relationships are bringing an awareness...let it happen but consciously be paying attention to what exactly it is you need to learn or overcome or how to stop the cycle by getting back the power that was taken from you.
You still might find after this that you are drawn to nessus relationships, but maybe it will be a new kind of aspect showing up in them...due to your understanding of pain and desire to help others to heal.
Since the relationship currently is nessus/dejanira touching sensitive places i would think its still about healing and fixing a painful situation that your mind is trying to make right where you were wronged!
It doesnt mean the relationship can't work but it does mean you need to be aware that right now you are using it to heal, its less about being in love and more about getting back your self love!
If you grow from this and he grows with you, you can grow into love together but sometimes it means if you grow, you will outgrow him...dont stay in pain just to stay at his level and hold onto the relationship.
But do stay there to learn whatever it is your mind is trying to overcome...if you leave you will only find another situation like this...because your mind is focused on healing if you want to be focused on love, you must first heal this hurt.
