I don't go in houses when it comes to asteroids. Look for aspects it makes instead. IP: Logged |

While i do agree asteroids don't hold the same degree of strength as planets in houses, psyche is a strong asteroid! I have psyche in gemini and its true my deepest fear is boredom...but im not interested in just anything like most gemini placements just love to gather info, random facts are great with them....my gemini psyche is in my 9th house...i have so many books on the bible time lines, prophecy's, cults, the Myan teachings, philosophers...i just love reading about things and gathering up as much info about these things, its sincerly my deepest need which is very fitting for a gemini psyche in the saggy house. If it was in the 5th house maybe i'd be researching family structures, parenting, children's needs....so to me, i personally feel i do see the house placement with psyche. From a synastry stand point, i had an ex with his aries psyche in my 7th and he saw me before i ever saw him and then he spent a year searching for me, the moment we met(or at least when i remember seeing him for 1st time) we couldnt get enough of each other! But psyche isnt a bonding for life placement, but it is one that adds some spice! IP: Logged |

Is it the same when someone's Draconic Psyche is conjunct (EXACT) my Draconic Descendant?------------------

Yup. Actually I do go by houses too because my Eros is conjunct psyche conjunct moon conjunct asc. Despite my Eros being in my 12th house because its conjunct so many things in my first house I run across a lot of people who share some major Eros conjuncts with. IP: Logged |

hi there kayteeh!There's a great book called Asteroid Goddesses: The Mythology, Psychology, and Astrology of the Re-emerging Feminine. Written by Demetra George & Douglas Bloch. (1986, 2003), Ibis Press. p. 187 For asteroid keyphrases, she lists psyche and eros-- 16 Psyche as the capacity to be psychically sensitive to another person. For ail221, 433 Eros as the capacity for vitality and passion. 16 Psyche and 433 Eros pair up as masculine / feminine polarity, as "The Lovers" (great book, with ephemerides of 16 asteroids, 1930-2050) To deathasillusion --- yeah, feels 'spooky' doesn't it.... as you say, there's a sense that we're writing history! I don't look at house overlays that much. I look at exact conjunctions of personal parts of the chart such as personal planets and angles.
