Tying to the OUAT character, I discovered Robert Carlyle's chart on Astrodienst and had a look based on my interest in his role as both Rumpelstiltskin and Mr. Gold in the series now that it finally started here.

Bear with me, this is probably one of those funny synchronicity stories if nothing else. Clearly I'm supposed to be paying ATTENTION here big time. I'm not going to get starry-eyed over the actor, no worries. His chart has pinged up a lot of things I'll have to look at in synastry with others though and with the Draconics I could easily get a "past life partner" assessment.

I've been aware of him for ages but it never occurred to me to have a closer look since none of his other characters ever properly triggered anything in me. It turns out the asteroid 1773 Rumpelstiltz is 17' opp. ASC in the composite chart I get with Carlyle. Don't ever tell me asteroids don't work.

Carlyle's Rumpelstiltz is 26'55' Capricorn right on the cusp of his 12th house opposite his 11911 Angel. It's also opp. my 12th house Saturn, trine my SN.

In the series Rumpelstiltskin ties to the character of Belle as well, so out of curiosity I checked Bella. Composite has 695 Bella three degrees from Rumpelstiltz.

I also discovered that my natal Bellona is 8" conjunct his same. Different meanings, same sounds? "Belle-owner"? His natal Bella is conj. our comp. Valentine and opp. my ASC. I have Gold 1,5 degrees before my ASC opp. his Bella. I haven't checked how Mr. Gold would play out otherwise.

Asteroid 48844 Belloves (Belle loves?) is conj. my name asteroid in the composite. It's six opp. Rumpelstiltz so wide, but still funny.

Anyone want to have a look if the new series playing out Rumpelstiltskin as Belle's "Beast" shows in other people's charts? I don't mean to the actor, others.

Carlyle has an interesting chart in any case with his 5 Vir retrograde Pluto-NN on his DC, so I imagine Pluto-Persephone asteroids features strongly in synastry with his wife.

I don't know when his wife Anastasia Shirley was born so if you have DOB data, I'll gladly take a look. That the name would have come up so recently with the 824 Anastasia thread posted here this past week is yet more synchronicity.

Anastasia in Carlyle's chart is 3'16 Gem trine his Shirley at 3 Lib.

Hilariously enough the composite between me and him has Anastasia at 25'34 Gem with the huge Sun-Merc-Mars-Venus stellium at the 26-27 Gem apex of a T-square. Comp. Shirley is sextile that and conj. my natal Sun.

I don't know quite what I'm supposed to glean out of all that, but it's obvious that I'm supposed to pay attention to something with his chart and how it mirrors to mine for later use. With our Karmas opposite each other and the comp. Karma on my NN, there's something there to sort for me.

I think a lot of past-life/ archetypal energies are being triggered...and maybe it is about indeed making a deal--sacrificing something you love for power. ...Bawled my eyes out, when he lost Baelfire into that vortex! The idea of learning about human love is indeed something I seem to be working on in this lifetime...as well as the right use of power, a la a # 8 numerology Lifepath.

I love the series too! He was also in Star Gate Universe and played a very similar kind of character. All was never what it seemed and he wheeled and dealed for himself, and if it benefitted others great, if not, he put himself first.

Yes, that's why I wanted to have a look at what the asteroid would do as well. I tentatively agree with the other poster about possibly getting what we want but having to pay a very high price for it. In all likelihood more than we'd want to once the time comes. Something about it all seemed to resonate for a closer look and how the series spins (no pun intended) it out adds more layers to it all.

I'm a 7 by DOB. I think it was something mystical or spiritual, and I wasn't complaining too much about birthdate 22 either.

I did check Bal, Baily, Bayle and such as well but it wasn't as pertinent to start from when first making the post. Bae/Bay seemed the nickname to start from for honing in on it.

If you're interested, please check out where your 19517 Robertocarlos is. It seems the closest full name one although Roberta works fine as well. Then again I probably would say that since apparently I have Roberta opp. Robertocarlos, 21 Can-Cap. Draconics go to 25'37 Tau and 25 Sco and my NN is 26 Sco 09'.

Or then I'd recommend checking that out since his Robertocarlos is conj. my Rumpelstiltz. Probably played out with a typical dramatic Rumple entry or giggle for the most attention.

Yeah, it's funny how it goes with whatever you end up noticing. I have Bella 1 conj. my Karma so with Karma opposition to Carlyle's I guess it eventually ties in. I don't know if Bella the beauty has had any further meaning analysis as an asteroid on its own.

Rumpelstiltz opp. Venus... Paying high prices for Venusian things doesn't vibe well with you? We both seem to have Gold near our Ascendants though. That it's your ASC/Jupiter/Gold probably makes it funnier that my Gold is 1 opposite Carlyle's Jupiter, on my Part of Fortune? Ah, no, I was reading the synastry instead of your natal. Sorry.

Ahaha. I had a read through that thread and the continued hilarity of the composite got even more funny with the talk of "strong passions". It's a good thing composites only come into play after knowing someone so we'll be spared whatever the effects. RunAroundScreamin advocates her "love stellium" square Pluto as being something highly desirable, and it's not only that but also Pluto trine the ASC, for example.

Comp. Lust is at 26 Aqu inconjunct Uranus and square Sun + square Karma. The main pattern beyond the planets? I misremembered that he also had a Karma trine Lust natal pattern, but his is a sextile.

I had a look at the transits for when I first saw OUAT/Rumplestiltskin and my reaction is also about the timing of the show. As these things probably always would be.

Karma was 6 Virgo conj. my Venus, 1 from his DSC. Sun 21 Lib + Moon 11 Libra opposing his same. Sun also makes an exact T-square out of my Roberta-Robertocarlos line so no wonder I take notice? Transiting Roberta 29 Sag trine my Sun opp. the 1 Can 54' event ASC (1 conj. my Nessus-Odysseus, square my MC). The IC for the time is ~5' conj. my ASC, Robertocarlos 1,5 conj. it.

Transiting Isis is opp. my natal Isis + comp. ASC, Osiris 10 Sag on my drac. ASC. Rumpelstiltz 23 Can square his Sun, 2 to my Roberta-Robertocarlos line? Bella transited over the composite NN at 16 Libra.

If you go by what he offers to people in the series or the fairytale, he can and mostly does offer help, sure. It's just that eventually the price will be something we'll find too much, even if in the fairytale we may also have no choice but to agree to accept the help?

Not that I don't see most of the people in the fairytale as completely irrational idiots, but once the king has made his ultimatum there's not much choice left for the girl. The father is a boastful irresponsible ass, the king seems greedy and possibly cruel with his death threat, and Rumpelstiltskin kind of leaps before looking in the end or is careless otherwise.

Romantic partner +I loved this film.

My Rumpelstiltz is 0' cnj Belle in a overlay between Natal/DR and both touching my IC.

.. and Rumpelstilz is 2' Bellelovez. Not too tight but it's definitely interesting how both touch between dr/Natal.
