Yeah, mine is much further away. Honestly I would rather it were closer than Logos, which is supposed to indicate being some kind of Lightworker or guide for humanity...Honestly I'd rather just be a librarian and have a couple nice pets... IP: Logged |

An important tip about Asteroids conjunct Sun: They have a very powerful effect in Synastry. If someone has his or her Sun conjunct your FORTUNA, then this person is the best lucky charm.IP: Logged |

Peitho is the goddess who personifies persuasion and seduction. Sex bomb!

I have Iris who is the asteroid of the rainbow and brings healing to oppositions in life. She travels with the sign of the physician and brings healing to others. Karka just found this for me and it brightens my day! ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I bet you must have godess like looks Most exact aspects 1< - Aphrodite conjunct Sun and Descendant - Union conjunct Sun and Descendant - Algol conjunct Ascendant * Aphrodite in Scorpio in the 7th mirrors my Venus ruled Taurus ascendant, and my Venus/Pluto conjunction in Libra. Talk about venusian/plutonian stuff going on here This makes me have an appreciation for everything related to beauty and aesthetics in all forms. I guess Aphrodite here only reinforce my planets' placements. * Union, on the other hand, I don't know how it plays out in my chart. I'm the loner kind and coudn't care less about being involved in a relationship. I'm better off alone. This one is a big mystery to me. * Algol : I don't even want to think about it, it scares me and depress me

You basically take an asteroid list - search Comprehensive asteroid list - it will show one thread from this forum.. and then go to astro.com, put in those numbers and see what you have! And give WOW every time you see something fascinating For example, one of the biggest patriots of my country, who is memorised even now, after his death, in the sake of my country, has.... my country asteroid EXACTLY conjunct his natal Sun!!!! for ease --- Serennu.com has an option that allows you to view the positions of its first 1000 asteroids (I can never remember how many it is so that could be off)~ but they have a check box that sorts it out with those asteroids~ some of which are on the lists here... some are, um... not so interesting/important~ other than that yeah~ what Aeline said~ it's a lotta flipping between pages sometimes - There are asteroid lists by theme on various boards/sites - but sometimes it is good to check the whole list (as you find it in astro.com/elsewhere) and find one's important to you or your subject. I like finding out more about Japanese asteroids at the moment... And, i added another 100 to my list because of everyone here doing a location asteroid study~ it was pretty cool too~ Found out Nara is cnj my Sun exact~ haha I like looking into my favourite philosophers, artists, and literary geniuses too~ anything really - Cezanne to Cervantes~ Would like to study celebrity charts~ but my gosh - IDK how you guys do it~~~ it gets so overwhelming at times!!!! mucho respect <3 all your research here~~~~~~~~~ you guys have no idea how helpful it has been having you to look up to, esp for a bumblebrain~ like mine~ haha IP: Logged |

Somnium is conjunct my sun too, by 1-2 degrees.I've gone through the rest of that Comprehensive asteroid list, and the *only* one on there that conjuncts my Sun that I haven't already mentioned, is Sumeria (by one degree) On an off-topic note, Nefertiti and Tutenchamun both conjunct my Venus within a couple degrees, which I had no idea about til now. ^I'd noticed some small difference between astro and Serennu too, had to double check the ones on Serennu with Astro for comparison. ><; ~ that's a crazy coincidence when you see your child's name in tight aspect to other parts of your chart~ !~ I had the same -wow- moment when I found out my son's name is conjunct my own name (both conjunct by 5 deg (a bit wide but still) to my Venus. I had his name picked out when I was just a little girl, (I never expected my husband would gowith it), but there it is~ lol oh~ I like your daughter's name btw!!~ - (big ol' name nerd here!)haha My DS is named Damian - but I used asteroid Damiaan -close enough- lol He has the same mn as both his late Great-granda and my dearest uncle. ~ So if I write about him on here~ I'll usually just go by Doc ~ (DR initials). lol ya'll know I'm talkin' bout the bubbastudmuffin if ya see "Doc" 'stead of DS. Ya know I haven't counted how many asteroids are on my lists yet~ I try to keep them all in some order~ but my gosh it's a hard task. Then I have saved articles, and tidbits from what everyone knows of them/uses them for on my computers/ipod...I filled up 5 notebooks already. But, had to really cool it down... starting to get asteroid-overwhelmed/asteroid fever~ (I keep a special list of where they fall by the degree, so nearly every degree in my chart has asteroids on it.... But~ I noticed there's a huge difference with the degrees of Aquarius. I have no planets there, only Vertex but for whatever reason... that section of the wheel has the most asteroid bodies (about two dozen more than the second most in Sagittarius). I guess it more or less has to do with where they lie, right? main belt or trans-outer planets... Still the numbers are huge in difference~ least falling in Cancer and sadly Virgo (leaving my ASC/first house pretty sparse.) I've only compared the huge index to Doc's chart so far... I wonder if it always works out with one/two houses being cluttered with asteroids??? Sorry for ranting~~~ hah back to doin' chores!~ ~~~~~ luv you guys -thank you all for your inspiration!!!! ~ lol not a loon~ fanatic!Yep, he's 1 deg to my name quote:
19 deg Sag = Basilea Sif Tyche (my name) 20 deg Sag = *Atria* Aristides Astraea Damiaan Kings
- Ven @ 15 - wide orb of 5 - but still pretty weird coincidence. I actually mentioned it to my husband too~ to which he said, "and that means..." ahhh such a stick in the mud~ he just doesn't get it. My closest astro-friends are back in Pennsylvania --- I rarely get out 'cause the Maysthenia makes me feel like Quasimodo-cyclops... once I get medication/treatment I'm going to try to find a group up here in the GTA of other astro-fanatics~ such a bummer when nobody has an inkling of interest in the neighborhood/family. >.<;;; (Most of my husband's family equate astronomy/astrology to devil-worship! Can ya' imagine~??! What year is it!? lmao) That's why it's so good having LL~ <3 Astro-enthusiasts united!~ haha IP: Logged |

Faith, did you input your birth time as Universal Time, at Serennu? Your U.T. is visible on your astro.com chart. For example, my 7:25 a.m. EST birth is 12:25 pm, in U.T.My angles and Moon at Serennu jibe exactly with astro.com, down to the second. IP: Logged |

I'm still making my way through some of the other asteroids now. I just found out that I have Celestia ("heavenly")on the same degree as my Sun.The asteroid "Gold" is three degrees away from my sun, also. It seems like any asteroids that play any prominent role in my chart, are all clustered around either my sun, or moon. My ascendant and South Node, have almost no asteroids attached to them. Even when I feed my info into Serennu, those areas come up empty. IP: Logged |

@SaturnineOkay, thanks for explaining! Basilea is a nice name...I don't know if that's yours, or a variant of it...but I love it. edit @Jovian Thank you for the tip, I actually don't remember what I did, but I will pay attention next time. IP: Logged |

@ Faith I can totally understand ~ my chickpea has me here, there, and gone in so many directions. (His doctor just diagnosed him as being ADD, with slight ASD), he keeps me on my toes constantly! He just doesn't sit still. >.< God, love 'em~ lol But, yeah - mommy/auntie (I have two nephews at the house most of the day too) to the rescue!! haha
Basilea #2033 - is a main belt asteroid. I don't know for sure which place/person it was named for. It's not my name though!~ haha It's a loan word to English (as Basil), from an old Hellenic Greek word for "King/Queen/Regal", sorta meaning "royal majesty". Vasili/Vasilisse(feminine Vassilissa). It can mean "(from the) King/Queen's abode/town" too~ ^^; Maybe handy if you are using royal-termed asteroids. (Like King #2305 and Queen's #5457). (Basilea is lined up with my name asteroid, and King is lined up with my son's name asteroid... I don't know if it counts for anything, but it is another cool coincidence at the least! haha) Valley Forge is a bit of a drive from my hometown back in the Skook, you're nearer to Reading/Philly area~ I don't have too many close friends down that way~ But, I think there's an auction place up in Boyertown~ (you know Pennsylvanians and our auctions haha!) So you get the PA Dutch cookin' half the year and half the year you get to enjoy those delicious Southern comfort meals!? -- I'm double jealous!~ I lived in Georgia for awhile when I was 19, the food.... oh, the fooooood.... haha <3 My friend's mother actually introduced me to Linda's writings ~ we would (5 from my generation, about 9 from her mother's generation or older) get together at the library/her house and swap books, and just talk for hours and eat cheese cake!!~ LOL (My friend's mother was an amazing cook! But terrible news for the collective waistline of all in attendance.) =x (I'm between coffee and heading out to pick up Doc now~ I hope you are very well~ catch up with you later!!!) <--- not proofreading right now either -scatterbrained morning- =x IP: Logged |
